No. Duke wasnt or hasnt been under investigation for cheating to get the recruits they get. UNC has been under investigation for cheating. Now they were absolved and im cool with that but your cheating for recruit thing was lame. does UNC cheat to get their recruits?
Maybe, but not as lame as hanging on to some desperate need for people to agree with one about UNC either.
No, of course not. I doubt he thinks Duke did either. It was a response to something dumb someone said by returning the favor.
Um. Im not. I said im cool with it. Some people may not be. I get what he said. But it isnt as cut and dry for UNC to just say "well does Duke cheat to get recruits" because you know, they were investigated. Kinda sounds like you are still just really defensive about it.
I don't believe in cheating. Cheating would be like if you put a funny mustache on Lebron and let him play for a college team or paying off the refs. Some hulking, illiterate young stud gets a few bucks or has someone write his papers doesn't move the needle for me.
I didn't say you were. He replied to someone who said something silly with something silly. There was no need for you to jump in at that point if you understood that. You also don't really seem cool with it as you are using it as some sort of subtle justification to differentiate. Not sure how I was defensive when I was just explaining the back and forth to you. You kind of jumped in with the defensive stuff (and are kind of keeping with it).
You jumped in too and kinda sounded defensive even if you try and sound cool now and and say you were just helping someone understand . I jumped in to give my take, what he said to some doesnt sound so silly. Apples to Oranges is where i was coming from. If he wouldve said does Duke give fake classes then it would have made more sense. That is why i said it was lame. Just didnt put a lot of thought into it. Dont see where i came across as defensive. But i guess i couldve explained my position better? I dont know. We could go in this circle all day.

Yep. That was my point. Only took one guy to say something and we're off. I like that he's backpedaling as though it was a joke, because we all know it wasn't.
Good to hear about the avi. Seinfeld was a great show, whereas the other wasn't, at all.
