4.5 mil is crazzzzzzy. What's that compared to an NBA rookie contract? Would it be similar to like a late 1st round or early 2nd round pick?
If im a big name school I'm passing on spending 4.5 on one stud player and I'm getting 3 or 4 good players. I could see a school that's not established already paying that much because it might boost their brand getting a big time player to come.
It was the slotted salary for the 12th pick last year.
He’s probably gonna bring in 3x that for BYU.
Damn the 12th pick? That's wild that a Freshman in college is going to be making lottery pick money.
YesSome are saying he might commit this week. BYU is the likely destination. The NIL deal was reported at $4.5 million. Not sure how that info gets leaked.
Is he the odds on #1 prospect?
Is this dude a generational talent? I mean, if you can get a Carmello, an AD, or a Zion and you have the cabbage, do it.
Seems very odd for BYU to land a guy of that caliber, but big money will get you very far with these kids.I think so. Higher ceiling than both Cooper Flagg and Cameron Boozer (Though, I wouldn't be surprised if Boozer has the best collegiate career of the 3). The player comp that gets used the most for Dybansta is Paul George.
For a school that doesn't have a rich history of NBA talent, BYU would have to be more than pleased if they got someone in the same ballpark as Paul George.

I guess I'd sacrifice being with the ladies for 1 year for that kinda coin too.
