You can really tell how these 2 teams are in different evolutions of themselves.
Tennessee is the established veteran club. Their rotation is figured out and they know what works for them. They're going to be great all year.
KU is still figuring themselves out. Rotation is still a mess and the offense still doesn't seem like it has an identity.

Be happy your best player only has 3 fouls because of bad/missed calls. Could have 4 like Dok.
Azibuike or however you spell it should not be this bad at free throws 3 years in.
Been a fun game. If we end up losing this game it won't be a meltdown. Tennessee is a damn good team.
Win or lose, both teams are going to be better for playing this game. By February both teams will be different and will be much better.
Dok has had a couple phantom calls but he's had a couple really, really stupid fouls as well.
Both definitely look like very good teams for sure.
What makes it worse is we may never see DeSousa play for KU again.
Both teams not shooting very well (as a whole)
We also really miss Garrett tonight in this situation. He'd be in there playing the small 4 able to hold his own better than KJ.
Thankfully we play in January.
I think UK will be much better by then too. They seem to be a bit better defensively. I don't count the VMI game because a huge number of shots they hit were highly contested.
UK's defense sucks!!!
Appreciate it, but we're really bad right now on defense.
I've notice this too. Not just this game either.
