Do Arkansas fans actually think Cal will succeed there?

Its not just about coaching though, recruiting both freshmen and the transfer portal are a bigger part of winning long term in college basketball. I think Cal will get a reset at Arkansas where he"ll be more motivated from the get go, will has a massive NIL budget at his disposal with the...

    Uh… so, Duke implodes…?

I think the blueblood strategy should be to recruit 5-6 freshman 5 stars every year, retain a few 5 star freshmen from the previous year and then fill in the holes on the roster with 3-4 proven transfers who fit specific roles on your team and will stay 1-2 years. Next year, you should expect...

    Uh… so, Duke implodes…?

I mean we're Preseason Top 3 at worst, why wouldn't I be excited and expect the team to have championship hopes? Winning a title is an incredibly hard thing to do even if you have the perfect roster and injury luck but as long as you have an elite team, you're giving yourself a puncher's chance.

Duke most likely blue blood to lose BB status

We've made 2 Final 4s, won a Title and made 5 Elite 8s in our last 8 tournaments with these top recruiting classes. What're you talking about? I'm the biggest Duke homer on this board and my expectations each decade are 1 Title, 2-3 Final 4s, 5 Elite 8s and 7-8 Sweet 16s. I also think Duke...

    Uh… so, Duke implodes…?

UConn this year had a freshman PG, a 5th year senior starting PG, a grad transfer SF, a sophomore PF and a sophomore C. Duke's starting 5 will likely have 2 freshmen (One Generational and 1 top 5 pick), a Junior PF/C hybrid, a Junior PG, A Soph CG and their top player on the bench will be a 5th...

    Uh… so, Duke implodes…?

Duke brings in 2 experienced, tough guys who are analytics darlings in Maliq Brown from Syracuse and Mason Gillis from Purdue. The top players in our rotation will likely be a seasoned Junior PG, a returning Soph G who's likely to improve a lot, a 5th Year team captain from Purdue who's the...

Duke most likely blue blood to lose BB status

Duke is honestly in the best spot in the blue blood hierarchy after Kansas. They're still a recruiting machine, have a big NIL budget, have the most media coverage to lure in high impact transfers and has had arguably the most recent success. If Kevin Ollie can win a title so can Scheyer with...

Do Arkansas fans actually think Cal will succeed there?

Arkansas will win more games in the next 5 years than UK, book it. Cal will bring in top recruits and transfers every year,

    Who to UK?

Legit Xs & Os guy who's never won a NCAA tourney game and just lost to Duquesne in the 1st round. Hubert has a national championship appearance, a Sweet 16 and a regular season ACC title in 3 years. Scheyer has an ACC tournament championship and an Elite 8 in 2 years.

At this point, you cant deny that UConn is blue blood already

The Women's Final and the Duke-NC State Elite 8 game was more viewed than the UConn-Purdue national championship which is crazy!

    Who to UK?

Kentucky is about to turn into Indiana and the BBN faithful are too blind to see it. Its ok, ya"ll had a great run. Maybe ya"ll can become a Women's College Basketball school like South Carolina?

    Who to UK?

5 stars are getting it done though. Maybe Cal just simply can't coach anymore. UK literally just had Stephon Castle on their team as a 5 star freshman and he might've been their best player after Clingan in this championship run. Jared McCain, a 5 star freshman, ended up being Duke's best...

    Who to UK?

Way too early Top 25 thread

UConn in the top 10 is outrageous imo even if Karaban returns. They're losing their 4 best players and they don't have stud recruits coming in. Ball, Johnson and Diarra are solid role players but you're basically saying they're all taking massive jumps. Now of course UConn could kill it in the...

Where do the real Blue Bloods go from here

I agree that it seems like he's basically stopped trying to coach anymore. Cal is basically a brand ambassador at this point and wants to showcase as many top NBA prospects in high school as he can and then take credit for their success in the league. Dan Hurley would be the dream home run...
