Your OOC 2018-19 Schedule so far?

WVU is always legit. I wish we could play y'all. I just felt bad for your OOC SOS, is all.

We'll be good next year unless Konate makes a bonehead decision and hires an agent. We're in trouble if that happens.

Iowa State:

Mizzou
@Iowa
Vs Drake (I’m hoping the dumb Big 4 Classic doesn’t even happen next year)
Probably @ an SEC school
3 in Maui which has an absolutely stacked field.
Southern (ew)

Should be a good test for our squad. Good mix of high quality games and some cupcakes.

tell that to the Iowa BOR. just be glad you don't have to play Drake and UNI every year as that is what the BOR wanted.

Nova's so far:

Quinnipiac (Baker Dunleavy was Jay's top asst and is now head coach there)

Big 5 Games
Temple
St. Joseph's
LaSalle
Penn

AdvoCare Invitational in Orlando-teams in field
Canisius
College of Charleston
Memphis
OK State
LSU
FSU

UCONN at MSG

and
AT Kansas---that will be fun!

I assume there will be a couple more

I don't know what OU will be like without Trae Young, but that's a really solid looking tourney.

Y'all not doing orange bowl classic this year?

Oh good call, should be in the OBC as well.

I'd love to see Konate return. Would be fun to track him vs Obiagu for the national block lead next year.

Kansas
(incomplete)

Champions Classic - Michigan State
We still have a Stanford game and possibly an Arizona State game left
First year (of 3) vs Nova
Some NIT early season tourney
Might be a Nebraskaball game left in there, too

And we are apparently working on another high profile road/neutral game that has yet to be announced.

Really nice home slate to open up the new arena this year..

I have to think the Big 12 is the return game against WVU.

For Indiana

Expected home game vs Big East (Gavitt Games)
Expected road game vs ACC (ACC/B1G Challenge) saw a rumor of Florida State or Miami here
Louisville (last game of 3 year deal)
Butler (Crossroads Classic)

IU updated.

Marquette (Gavitt Games)
Expected road game vs ACC (ACC/B1G Challenge) saw a rumor of Florida State or Miami here
Louisville (last game of 3 year deal)
Butler (Crossroads Classic)
Jacksonville (Not a great team, the staff has ties to the state of Indiana)

Drives me crazy when Florida schedules Jacksonville. They are such an RPI killer. Best RPI since 2011-12 season is 265.

Playing them on the road would be smart for the RPI. At home is a no go.

By the way, I heard some scuttlebutt from someone I trust that the UF/FSU game might open the season this year. Or at the very least be played in November, not December.

Oh wow I’d enjoy that. We’d be one of the best opening night games. Also maybe a change in timing will reverse the rivalry mojo.

I'd enjoy it too. Give it a little more of the spotlight it deserves. It really has blossomed into a nice rivalry.

But I'll stick with the current mojo :)

Tennessee announced they are playing either Kansas or WVU in the Big 12/SEC challenge.

Guessing it'll be KU.

Interesting note on FSU/Indiana. Don't think we have ever played in the challenge. I had heard Purdue or Ohio State would be more likely for FSU, but it definitely will be an FSU home game so Indiana could work.

Updating this note: I’ve been told it’s FSU/Purdue in the Big 10 matchup.

@klize17 that might mean Miami for y’all if the rumor you heard earlier pans out?

UVA travels to Maryland for ACC/B1G challenge.

I’m shocked we get a team from Maryland after what happened in the tournament

Instead of West Virginia, UK plays Kansas.

In the OOC, UK will play Duke, Kansas, North Carolina, Louisville, Seton Hall, Utah, UNC-Greensboro, and Monmouth so far.

In August, in the televised Bahamas games, UK plays the Bahamas national team, San Lorenzo de Almagro (the FIBA de las Americas champions from Argentina), Mega Bemax (Serbian team that has put the 3rd most players in the NBA since 2007, behind Kentucky and Duke), and Team Toronto (Canadian select team coached by Roy Rana).

All in all, I’m thrilled with how battle tested UK will be this season, and there are a lot of good games to be watched this year.

For FSU:

UF

Big 10 team at home

Advocare Tourney in Orlando (other teams include Villanova, LSU, Oklahoma State, and College of Charleston)

Orange Bowl Classic game in Miami (likely power opponent but I've heard we've been turned down by a couple after the elite 8 run...)

Rumbles of UConn at a neutral site in northeast, but not confirmed

Probably a bunch of low/mid majors after that.

Just updating some of these:

The Big 10 game is Purdue at home.

My source was right about the UConn game--will be Dec. 8th in the Prudential Center in Newark. Part of the "Never Forget" event.

Still no word on the Orange Bowl Classic.

@FlGator22 Just announced, FSU vs UF to open the season! November 6th in the Tuck. Should be a lot of fun!

Updating the Orange Bowl Classic: FSU will face the St. Louis Billikens out of the A-10. Travis Ford has upgraded the talent there for his second year, should be a good game.

Not sure who UF is playing in this classic. Any word @FlGator22 ?

ACC better load up on juggernauts like Towson OOC. Gotta do something to make up for being such a weak conference. :D
