Here you go. JHS scored 21 of his 35 points from long 2 point shots or contested floaters. These are the types of shots that Painter wants teams to take because it's the toughest shot that's worth the least amount of points. Most players don't make 60% of these shots like he did. But please, tell me what was going on "off the ball" in each of these shots that make it seem no like what I just presented.
This is biggest reason IU won. The other being that Purdue shot 1/13 (or something like that) from 3 in the 2nd half and missed 12 free throws.

Yeah, I'm candidly a little surprised they are struggling as much as they are. Galloway was a solid shooter last year but has started just 3-18 from three. Mgbako is supposedly a solid shooter but has started 2-18 from three. Gunn was brought in as a shooter but has yet to make a 3 this year.
Reneau and Ware are clearly their best players, but they appear to be forcing it inside more than they should. They need to find better floor balance. As a Purdue fan, I know that all too well.
On the Galloway front, I just looked up his career numbers:
Frosh - 18% on 6-33
Soph - 21% on 6-28
Junior - 46% on 30-65
Senior - 17% on 3-18
Maybe he's just not a good shooter and last year was the anomoly.
Yes JHS scored. That is a result of one of several of the things I asked about. I don’t expect a pu grad to comprehend beyond “ball went in”
