That percentage on a high number of attempts is crazy.

Yeah that's why I went and looked up the makes and attempts. When I first saw that percentage, I figured small sample size. Consider me impressed.

Another little tidbit about Cash is his basketball IQ is very high. I mean his IQ overall is quite high (offer from Harvard) but he just understands the game.

Bohannon 88-204 playing on a injured foot the focus of every teams defense, while Winston has these 2 take all the heat off of Winston, Bridges and JJJ.

Jordan. lets see what Winston will do when defenses focus on Winston in the 18-19 season after Bridges and JJJ go to the NBA.

He's made his last 16 of 20 3pt attempts.
so Gatens of Iowa did that also but it didn't make him the best SG in the BT.
Lindsey last night went 9-11 from 3 does that make him the best shooting guard in the BT.
Mathias went 7-9 what about him. everybody gets hot.

Lindsey also set the Carver record for made 3's breaking Kingsbury record of 8.

None of those guys ALSO lead the league in assists per game. So Winston is the best shooter, and the best assist man.

What are you even trying to argue here?

Winston is avg'ing 2.5 TO's a game vs Bohannon who is avg'ing 1.9 TO's per games.

MSU has 5 players in DBL digit scoring while Iowa has 4 and Iowa's 5th scorer is avg'ing 5.9 PPG by FR Nunge.

since assists = made baskets the lack of a 5th scorer makes it even harder as Iowa has been playing 4 on 5 while on offense.

You mean 4 vs 8. Can’t forget the refs screw Iowa every chance they get.

Winston is a low volume shooter. AND he is not the focal point of teams defenses.

would he have those same numbers if he was the focal point of teams defenses, I doubt it

besides Winston was a 5* by Rivals and Bohannon was a 3* by Rivals. [4* by ESPN]

Winston should be putting up better numbers.

Taking 4+ 3s per game is low volume? He makes 2.3 of his 4.0 attempts from 3 per game.

Bohannon hits 2.8 of his 6.6 attempts per game. He's a chucker, and still only makes 1 more 3pointer every other game. Or think of it this way, Bohannon averages almost as many misses as Winston even attempts.

You can twist things as much as you want, but Winston is a better PG than Bohannon. Better shooter, better assist man. He is scoring 0.8 less than Bohannon in 4 less minutes per game, and taking 2 less shots per game. Hes also a better rebounder. Bohannon is a good player, just not as good as Winston.

There's also this other half of the game called Defense, JBo plays none.
you and others are forgetting his foot injury, the 1st 26 games while the foot was bothering him he had 11 steals, since got to 100% he had 10 steals in 5 games.

the team defense was poor to bad, but the last couple games have shown improvement.

they will have 6'5 PG Connor fully healthy next season. then there is 6'6 Wieskamp a SG/WG that will be that 5th starter. both are very good defenders.

even 6'4 PG/SG Fredrick is a very good defender, but what I like is the FT% they bring to the table at over 85%.

6'7 PG/SG Dailey spent the whole season learning the PG Position has the length and speed to guard anybody at the 1-2-3.

Garza is only going to get better and has 32 blocks on the season. even Nunge has 25 blocks
Nunge had to get used to playing the 4 or 5 and played the 3 out of necessity and is tied for 2nd on the team in steals with 21, Moss, Cook and Bohannon all have 21 steals,
Baer leads with 25 steals in 25 games. as a team

next season it will be much improved and Bohannon minutes will go down with a healthy Connor, Moss who is getting better on defense and scoring who is 2nd on the team in assists, will move to the 3 where he played as a FR when Jok was here.

finally nobody will need to play out of position.

does that make Haarms GOD?
