So far UK's is

Mich ST (Champions Classic)
UCLA (CBS Sports Classic)
UL
Michigan in London

4 pretty good teams.

*ongoing thread obviously.

Kansas (Champions Classic)

3 games in the PK85 Tournament alongside Gonzaga, Purdue, Xavier, West Virginia, Florida, Oregon State, and Portland State.

ACC/Big Ten Challenge (I'd guess Michigan, Indiana, or Purdue)

Hopefully one more neutral court game

Maybe something like Kansas, Gonzaga, Purdue, Oregon State, and Michigan. Hopefully one more P6 school.

Battle 4 Atlantis games
Indiana
Mizzery
Omaha
Southern Utah
Seton Hall (BE/B12)
SEC/B12 TBA

Rumor at one point had us playing vs Gonzaga, but I've heard nothing recently
Being KU had to play at Rupp twice UK should play @ AFH again to square it up.

You should explain what the PK tournament is for those Kentucky fans that might not be aware.

Kansas, Arizona, and UNC are the headliners...PLay @ Xavier in the Gavitt Games. Rest of the OOC really isn't all that enticing: ALR, Elon, etc, etc...Morehead St could have been a very fun game.

But the stretch of Nov 30th-Dec 17th will be fun:
Vs UNC
Vs Arizona(Las Vegas)
@ Kansas

Won’t do the patsies and I don’t think it’s complete yet, but I have to say I like it so far, even with an underwhelming B1G/ACC opponent (just guaranteed a loss, lol…):

11/18 - vs. UCLA (Las Vegas, NV)
11/20 - vs. Baylor/Virginia (Las Vegas, NV)
11/29 - vs. Syracuse
12/6 - vs. Texas (MSG in New York, NY)
12/TBD - vs. Missouri (St. Louis, MO)

I was hopeful we were bringing our annual game at the United Center back (usually a Saturday in December), but I don’t know if the logistics worked out … it’s kind of hard to work those deals out, as you pretty much need four years. For example, a few years back we played Arizona in Tucson, Champaign, Phoenix and Chicago. Did a similar thing with Gonzaga.

I'm proud of y'all finally getting y'all's nerve up to play Michigan. Frankly, it was kinda embarrassing when y'all chickened out last time. Good job.

Gonzaga:
Michigan State on an aircraft carrier
Baylor in South Dakota
@ Texas
Alabama in Birmingham
PK 80 likely against Portland State, then Purdue, then Duke.
Home game vs Washington.

Seriously I miss actual home and away non conference games

Seems to be some chatter about GU and Kentucky playing each other in 2023 as well.
That's the word on the street. I think it is expected to start this season and likely be a home-and-home series. Should know for certain tomorrow.

Would be a huge deal if Gonzaga, a small Jesuit school in the middle of nowhere Spokane, was able to get Kentucky to travel to them.

Shoot even when Cal was at Memphis he refused to come to the Kennel. He wanted to play off campus because Memphis’ home arena was off campus. Which was a total bs move.

He has always been keen on the neutral sites. I'm tired of the lack of quality non-conference home games though. Nobody wants to watch them just beat up on a bunch of shitty quad 4 opponents all year. I think they're trying to get UNC back on the home-and-home schedule, but that won't be this year. They already play once every 3 years in the CBS Sports Classic anyway.

College basketball in general needs more Home and Away series in OOC. Reward the fans and students. Way better atmospheres on tv too.

Kentucky vs Gonzaga home and home just announced. Kentucky visits the Kennel on November 20th of THIS year.

Honestly speechless. This is a huge deal for GU. By far biggest home game in the program’s history. I give Cal all the credit in the world for agreeing to this.

He's talking about a telethon to raise funds for Kentucky flood relief that's going on right now.

The Vols play in Atlantis and the other teams are Kansas, USC, NCST, Dayton, BYU, Wisconsin and Butler.
I'm looking forward to it.

I would rather see UK play in actual tournaments like that instead of the Champions Classic and CBS Sports Classic every year. That or turn those events into 4-team tournaments where each team plays two games (winners play for the title, losers play for consolation) or round robins where each team plays all 3 of the other teams.

I like the one we are playing in because it is an actual tourney, you get to play several teams and the competition is from multiple conferences.

Sounds like they'll be playing at Spokane Arena instead? Cal is a scared lil bitch. If you're gonna do the damn thing then do it. You're playing in Spokane so just play them on their home court.
