I posted about a month ago that KU would turn it around. I was dead wrong.
Self has done an absolutely terrible job with this roster. They have way too much talent to be this bad. Not to mention, they have plenty of returning players, and got some of the best guys in the portal.
They were rated pre-season #1 for a reason, and took down Duke as well. Never saw them collapsing in this manner. They will still make the tourney and will be probably be a 5-7 seed, but they don't look good.

maybe I got confused but thought they got busted for taking their recruits to strip clubs or something. I know they were busted for cheating

LOL, that dude ain’t coming back here for a while. He loves to call you out if you take any kind of a break after your team loses, but dude disappears like this when KU loses.
Add in the fact the Chiefs got deep dicked and you have youself a ghost.
They barely beat UNC earlier this year so the warning signs have been there.

How many decent teams would trade their PG or #4 for Harris or Adams? Self should've recruited over both. They must have pics of him banging a coed.
Doesn't help that they've put bad lineups out there at times, and I've heard there might be locker room issues with guys like Griffen and Storr. But it's not like either has earned a lot more playing time. Big disappointments. Some KU fans want to blame Self for that, but plenty of portal transfers have come in and flourished.
That said, KU's shown they can be good when they play with intensity. They usually show up for the hyped opponents.
Mayo was injured vs Utah and I'm hearing he might miss the game tomorrow, so it might be another rough night.

I've posted sporadically the last few months in general. The top threads right now are about hockey, college baseball, and women's hoops. Tells you something. Every other thread's mostly a UK circle jerk, and if I post in those you'll start crying again, and we don't want that.

Nah, I was over that before the game even ended. I’m good with 3 SBs in 5 years, especially when the last two were in rebuilding years.

They looked good on paper. Got some talented players but apparently the wrong mix. They don’t play well as a team.
Flagg has improved and matured a lot since. But Duke lost to Kentucky and Kansas because Scheyer decided to let Flagg play hero ball at the end of those gams. Thankfully he has abandoned his dribble, dribble, spin move.
