You have been there. Kentucky got screwed in that game in 2016.
WVU did not get screwed today. They just didn't drive to the hoop and didn't create contact. Sometimes a foul disparity can be a sign that you got screwed. Sometimes it's a sign that your guys were not creating contact or the other team wasn't playing defense.
KU was dominated at the FT line at Creighton and at Mizzou. KU got screwed at Creighton. KU did not get screwed at Mizzou. At Mizzou KU was playing defense with their hands and KU's players were not creating contact. Against Creighton, KU's players were creating contact and still not getting a call, while Creighton was getting FTs every time KU breathed on them. It's the way it goes sometimes. Not every disparity is bad officiating. The only bad officiating of the game was the over and back call. Maybe I'm missing another bad call? For the most part it was a well called game. KU drove to the hoop, and WVU played very physical on defense. That is going to generate FTs. On the flipside, WVU's paint points were mostly post players, which rarely get calls these days, and put-backs. The foul disparity in this one was fair.
Self will be fine when they start signing guys to 2+ year contacts once revenue sharing kicks in.

That poster didn't say WV's a better team w/out those players. He said the subs stepped up and played better that day. Maybe true, maybe not. Matter of opinion.
It wouldn't be a bit surprising if KU played better without Adams or Harris (two of the top 4 scorers). In fact, a big portion of the fanbase has been hoping they'd be replaced for two years.
It also wouldn't surprise me if Flory Bidunga outperformed Dickinson while he were out, despite the huge stat disparity and All American status.
This'll probably blow your mind, but a higher ppg average doesn't always make you the better player or guarantee that you'll remain the better player forever. Sometimes, especially early in the year, it just means you're the more trusted/experienced player. But I get it. You're from Jersey.

The difference is, the UK players you’re referencing, had their issues after they left UK, how long is the university on the hook for players that previously played there? KU's guys keep getting in trouble while playing for KU. I mean, Hunter is just the latest example. The guy is a POS
West Va's bench guys stepped up, because KU's defense let them step up.

Here’s the difference, if a KU board posted something about ex UK players going to jail, you would have a hard on, no UK fans would know about it and you're the only one that would see relevance in it.
Whereas, the second someone on RR talks about anything KU, you lose your shit and claim UK fans are obsessed, while ignoring the fact that you are over there monitoring what’s being said while posing as a UK fan. It’s called 'hypocricy'.
