UVA vs TT game thread

You could say Lady luck has been with them for a couple games. Could have easily lost the last 3 games.
That’s what I’m saying. She’s been making up for it this entire tournament. I’ve never seen such a long streak of luck.

Congrats to UVA. Awesome game, big shot after big shot.

Congrats @jhmossy! UVA deserved it and totally earned it. Helluva run to getting knocked out to a 16 last year only to turn it around winning the national title the next. You can't make this sh*t up. Enjoy it man!

Between last year and the last three games (and even the early deficit in the first round game this year), this has to be one of the most satisfying national championships in college basketball history.

No question! This UVA team is about as tough minded as you will find anywhere. Both teams punched each other in the mouth. Both withstood leads in the final minutes leading into OT as well as the first few minutes of OT.

This game meant a lot to my family. My father in law, whom I loved and respected as much as own dad, passed away in February rather quickly after being diagnosed with a terminal illness. He was a lifelong UVA fan and alum with 3 degrees from UVA who always handled wins and losses with grace. I’m sad he didn’t get to watch it with the family, but we all know he saw it somewhere.

Godspeed Tom.

Amen bro!

That step back 3 in the corner, when it was under 10 by both teams, told me UVA was more prepared for that game. ACC. No cheap ones in the league.
