UVA vs TT game thread

Reminder that UK/Auburn was 60/60 at the end of regulation in the elite 8.

This game is now on pace to outscore the all SEC elite 8.

The uva kid, Clark, literally got blocked on every shot last game. He probably is gun shy.

I feel somewhat torn. I definitely want Virginia to win, but I still want to see a competitive game, since 7 months is a freaking long time to go without college basketball. Entertaining first half.

I don't care who wins. I just want a good game in the end.

Tough start for TT. Tough second foul on Owens and UVA is looking comfortable on offense.

UVa is dancing in the sideline like it’s in the bag again. They did that against Auburn and they almost lost it.

The way that block/charge calls encourages defenders to go out of their way to make the game both more dangerous and unappealing is a blight on basketball, and especially college basketball. It's up there with jumping into a defender to get a shooting foul and grabbing a player by the uniform to stop a fast break.

Yeah, thought that should have been a block. I think the official in the booth is just told to agree with the call.

It was close per the rules, but the rules (and more importantly how they are implemented) should not incentivize players intentionally getting in the way of and colliding with another player rather than playing the ball. The NBA has a much better handle on block/charge than the NCAA, at least, last year's Finals Game 1 notwithstanding.

Mahomes looks like such a tool standing in the crowd flexing by himself for the cameras while everyone else is actually celebrating
