This is supposed to be the best Iowa team ever?

There was a shutdown. It was stupid. After the shutdown, do you think that they should have played on Thursday?

If they were able to use the facilities / workout and stay conditioned during the shut down, absolutely.

For them...yes.

Do you think a man is more tired after running a mile than a woman...just because the man was faster?

The woman’s game is much more finesse. There isn’t half amount of the contact you see in a Big Ten men’s game.

So, because of hard fouls...you cuck out? You cant play in 4 days because of contact? This is even more embarrassing than I thought.

That’s probably a big reason they want to make sure the team is back up to condition instead of rushing back. The physicality of big ten men’s basketball is well documented and you don’t want to risk injury for rushing back after the entire team was locked out of workout facilities for over two weeks.

How is Garza doing? The kid was a plowhorse early in the season, getting anything he wanted. I haven’t really kept up with anybody else. Been too busy trying to convince myself to look away from the houseboat fire UK has become. Totally demotivating.

It appears that the constant double and triple teams every time down the floor, and the extra contact allowed by the refs, (since Big Ten play started at least) so that opposing defenses can at least try to guard Garza @IUfanBorden is finally starting to wear him down.....

Iowa is also doing him no favors by struggling to shoot the 3 as of late with the absence of C.J. Frederick and they only have two guys who can kind of attack the basket on the drive, but one of them is too weak and the other too short for that to be a consistent threat in their offense.

In fairness, not having CJ has really hurt Iowa. Bohannon gonna have to step up.

@hawkit3113

This KU potato is just obsessed with Iowa and Purdue. I think he keeps up with the B1G more than he does his own team and conference. Triggered and rent free.

How could anyone be obsessed with Iowa and Purdue? I’d barely be aware of their existence if not for goons like you.

I see that Purdue isnt ranked...
I wonder if the "Men's" team were playing a lesser team, would they be able to find their balls?

I like Iowa but I feel bad for those slow white goobers, when they have to play a real athletic team in the tournament. Good thing they don't play in the great big 12. It would be embarrassing blow by's on every posession.
