The SEC is shaping up to be a tough Conference

Maybe, but any important piece going down changes a lot for every team. I wish this tournament wasn't a battle for a seed. Auburns a bit lucky in that sense. They didn't need it as much. Problem is all these teams are competitors and want to win it. I just want to be healthy for the tournament.
Congrats to the Gators, with Nelson not able to play in the second half we looked very mediocre . This is an embarrassing loss (blowout)
IMO the Gators should be the #1 overall seed in the NCAA. Good luck tomorrow against the Viles.

Yeah man hope he's alright. I feel like if ya'll woulda went up 10+ in the second we would have likely folded it in the same way. Sears didnt play much second half either.
Man I'm not sure a fist fight with Tennessee is even worth it SMH. Like it is always worth it, but I worry.

This aged well.

Looks like Boogie Fland is ready to play in the NCAAT. I think Arkansas would be better off without him. They were playing like ass before he got hurt.

Yeah, I can't imagine adding a guy at this point would be good for chemistry, but they need bodies, so it might be just what the doctor ordered.

So, it looks like most SEC teams are going to lose most of their best players after this season. There are going to be a lot of rebuilding jobs to do:
Tennessee: Ziegler, Lanier, Ganey, Mashack, Milicic and Dubar
Auburn: Broome, CBM, Cardwell, Chaney Johnson, Kelly, Denver Jones and Scott
Alabama: Sears, Omouruyi, Wrightsell (redshirt?), Nelson and Youngblood
Florida: Clayton, Martin and Richard
Kentucky: Williams, Butler, Brea, Robinson, Carr, Almonor and most likely Kriisa
Texas A&M: Jace Carter, Coleman, Garcia, Hefner and Wade Taylor

Florida appears to be at the head of the class as far as a returning roster goes, but there is going to be a mad dash to grab any good players that throw their name in the portal.

It's a raccoon city boy and I mean everyone loses their players and Cal swopes in.
Cal swoops in? I'm not following, he mainly goes after high school kids that are NBA bound.
Are you referring to him taking Aidoo out of the portal?

I think you're not understanding my post, the teams I listed are going to lose players that are either long term staples of their program (Ziegler, Taylor, Sears, etc… ) or most of their main rotational players.

There's going to be a lot of rebuilding going on. Losing Ziegler, Taylor, Clayton and Sears, will leave a dent in those programs.

I thought Arky was built with experienced players. Am I wrong?

Well, yeah, this year, but he didn't have a choice. However, he still has several freshmen.

Cal and Pope had to scramble to get who they could get in a hurry.

Cal had a huge advantage though, he took Wagner, Z, Ado Thiero and 4 UK recruits, then Brazille stayed with Arkansas. He got who he wanted.

But look for him to be young again next year and grab a couple portal guys.
