Vols vs Bama is getting little respect nationally for a how big of a deal the game is. A #1 seed is likely on the line and multiple celebrities will be there. Probably Vols biggest game since 2008 Memphis
Huge game. It's gets the 3rd highest thrill score on KenPom for Saturday and honestly should probably be #2 at least. Not sure why

Yes, easily the best matchup rankings wise. What I posted was KenPom thrill score and I am not really sure how he comes up with it because he has the UT - Bama game predicted as a closer score than the Ky - Auburn game.

Honestly UGA just caught some serious fire the first half. We didn't defend well, but Demery and Newell were like 75% from 3 at half it was nuts. Demery especially was just hitting. Hats off to em.

Bruce Pearl is Preparing for Kentucky to get a "Home Whistle" at Rupp Arena
Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl is preemptively complaining about the officials before his team plays Kentucky at Rupp Arena.
Nope...just a coach being a loser and making excuses about the refs before the game.
Just for that, I hope Auburn gets absolutely screwed tomorrow...although if Bruce has been watching any UK basketball the last few years, he would know UK gets one of the worst home whistles in the SEC.

While that’s true we have beat UT twice and with the other big games UK has won (Duke, Zags & others) I think that’s what drives this game. They know Rupp will be crazy and then throw in the fact you have two hot heads in this game (Garrison UK & the kid from Auburn) and it should be good tv.
Both games are going to be a fun watch. UT/bama is for a #1 seed and AU is a top team playing a very good team.
Everybody has their own opinion and that’s fine but if we’ve got a “favorable whistle I’d like to remember it. Every team gets a call or two at home but to say we have had favorable whistles isn’t right. If that was the case Cal wouldn’t have been countless hours of footage of Cal running up and down the sideline screaming at the refs the last few years.
So UT got swept by a team only thought of as "a very good team"?

The Bama v UT game is going to be great, but it ain't UK vs #1 Auburn, maybe not in your mind, but UT really isn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.
You Have 8 losses, we have 5. UK has risen to the occasion, but they have fallen flat on their face too. Actually, it is UK that is not really that big of a deal. UT, AU, and bama are all highly rated with minimal losses and UK is not.
Every single fact says different, della. ABC took this game for a reason, viewership for any UK game is higher and the rankings posted in this thread are backing up what I'm saying.
Offense drives a lot of excitement, nobody wants to watch teams that rely of defense and struggle to score and that, my friend, is a cold, hard fact.
As long as Barnes puts defense way ahead of offense, y'all are going to continue to fall short of the FF and fall short on viewership.

I would argue that an aggressive defense is a weapon and it is fun to watch.
If we are going to make gross speculations, I would say until Pope can teach UK consistency, UK runs the risk of exiting the tourney in the early rounds and much less probable of even seeing a FF.
