Losing a starting backcourt and having no PG is a death sentence in college basketball. UL does not have that issue. At all.
And UK actually has to play real competition without all these players, something UL hasn't had to worry about in the ACC.
As an example, I would love to see how Duke would play without Proctor, his backup, and Kneuppel in the SEC. They would look like a shell of themselves. Everyone knows that guards win championships and are needed to make deep runs in March. UK doesn't have those. Hopefully they will be back soon.

And since you can't seem to stay away from all things UK (you clearly are more interested in how UK performs then UL, and I would guarantee your posting history reflects that), you should probably learn how to ignore posts if they bother you this much.

Arky is 3-3 since the UK game. Is that a turnaround? If so, that has to be one of the weakest "turnarounds" in sports history...
Do you think that you guys played worse yesterday than the first time (in Lexington) you played Alabama? You had both Butler and Robinson that game.
That is probably because it is a crap shoot where we will end up. Until that is established it means nothing.
They weren’t even considered a tournament team until after they beat Kentucky, they were 1-6 in conference until they beat Kentucky.

The key match up for us is bama. Win that and don't crap the bed and we could get a 1 seed.
UK played worse last night, in my opinion. A lot of UK fans are complaining about the refs, I am not one of them. I thought UK got as good of a road whistle as one can expect.
Amari Williams is stuck initiating the offense too often without a PG. Robinson would do that in place of Butler and Kriisa, but UK can't do that now with him out as well. Perry isn't ready yet, although he has done an admirable job of filling in. Chandler hasn't played basketball for two years, and while I think he will be good if he stays at UK, like Perry, he just isn't ready yet to help initiate offense.
Oweh played like garbage last night and committed several stupid fouls, hence he fouled out with like 8 min to go.
I wasn't expecting a win, but the game at Okla this Wed is a must win, in my opinion.

Anyone can beat anyone in the SEC on a given night. We have 4 games left and we could lose them all or we could win them all. If we only win one, I hope it's against SCAR. I hate when they show up on here.

He has a point Jeffy. UL was down a lot of players against y'all and he didn't go on about it every breath like y'all have.
Most of which were/are not primary players.
Chucky Hepburn played, it's not like they were missing their entire backcourt.
Let's take Ziegler,, Gainey and Lanier off UT's roster and see how they do.

Of course it is better. I would not classify it as a turnaround. If they went 6-1 or 5-2, sure.
It's like if an NFL team started 1-6 and were then 5-9, would never say it was some kind of turnaround. They are just playing average now.
It’s definitely a "what could have been" season so far, but there's a good chance Butler will he back soon, probably not 100%, but he should be back and Robinson is on track to he back eventually.
This team is good enough to go on a run in the tournament, but the team needs those 2 guys badly.
They are on the bubble now, they were not in the conversation before the Kentucky game.
Maybe when Cal and Pitino were the coach, now Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, they are feared more.
Just for the record, Lattrell Wrightsell, a starter and best 3 point shooter is out, Derrion Reid, a 5 star freshman that started several games is out and has missed 7 games lately. Not to mention Houston Mallette, another great 3 point shooter is out for the year.

I don't think anyone is arguing that most teams in the country are dealing with injuries. At least that has never been my argument.
The problem for UK is where the injuries have occurred. Take away Bama's starting PG, his backup, and their starting SG, Bama will become a shell of themselves. No offense, but the guys you listed above (outside of Wrightsell) don't really move the needle.
