Some fans want to give the coach a million dollar raise after a good game and then want to fire him after a bad one.
Craziest stat of the night: UT shot 45 three-pointers to UK's 24 (and UK still made more). 😬
Few calls were annoying but that happens. Went to the monitor too many times as well. But the last 2 games have been the two best reffed games of SEC play for UK. Pope's comments must have worked lol.

Tennessee @ Auburn the other day it was clear refs let them play extremely physical which definitely was advantageous to UT's style of play. At Auburn? Not normal.
Today, I'm expecting Tennessee to try and drag Uk in the mud because that's what's given UK issues and it's @ UT right? Nope they called it extremely tight for the most part. Not normal.
None of it is making sense lmao.
I mean, UK's defense takes a beating by everyone that wants to tear them down, but that defense nade UT do things they arent good at.
Yeah, I think that is what is so frustrating for everyone. If you want to call it one way or another that's fine, but be consistent. Decide how you want to officiate and stick to it. Shit some of these officials are like Jekyl and Hyde just from the 1st half to the 2nd,
Tennessee has been thinking about that loss to us for weeks. Add to that they have lost two close games in a row. I dunno man.

Next….Kentucky has won three straight over top ten Tennessee teams in Knoxville at Food Stamp arena and Mark Pope has a 1-0 head to head lead over Barnes. Yes, they did well keeping them out of the paint and UT played right into the gameplan. I suspect UT will try to play it much differently on offense in the rematch. Getting into a 3 point shootout with UK probably isn't the best strategy.
You’re not the only one man. I have lots of Tennessee friends and they are sick of him as well and think he’s way overrated.
I think it depends on how Tennessee really views itself. He has had us ranked highly for a long time but if that's the only goal then I doubt we ever change coaches. He has won a lot of games

To be clear I really like Barnes. I know what Tennessee basketball has been for many many years and he has y’all in a much better place. His big knock is that he chokes when it matters….March!
Tennessee has had shitty luck in the tourney and that is what people usually complain about, but think about how many times ya'll were so close. On the other side of things...does UT get knocked out early in 1st or second rounds often? I feel they usually make it to at least second weekend. There is a LOT of luck needed to win in March no matter what anyone says.
The thing is we don't want to go back to the Cuonzo Martin days but it feels like the longer Barnes stays we will trend towards that direction

Oh he's a huge loss, but he's not even close as important as Sears is. Alabama is a FF team even without Wrightsell, but if you lost Sears, you're not a FF team, no way.
UK missing both pg's and their best pf, is really tough to overcome.

Ab and della, what was that game plan? Every time I switched over to see some of y’all’s game, it looked like it was the end of the game and y’all needed a three to tie, even early in the game. When you guys played Louisville you were attacking the basket most of the game, then dishing out for three pointers on occasion. Last night you tried playing like Alabama (chucking threes) but you don’t have that kind of shooters.

Kentucky sagged and clogged the lane, gave them open threes and they took 45 of them.
That’s definitely not a game plan we can use against most of the SEC, but Tennessee struggles to shoot, so guard Lanier and let the rest shoot it.
Exactly. Barnes even said postgame we were clogging the lane and giving them the three. Rocky’s coach couldn’t figure it out I guess
