Barnes has made us competitive at a high level.

Everyone wants to be #1 from start to finish, but that is an unrealistic goal. If you turn your nose up to be a contender in the top 10, then try going back to being ranked #70 and praying for an NIT bid. I suppose every program has soft ungrateful fans, though.

Yeah, nobody should be crushing Barnes. He did everything a coach could do to win the game. Shots didn’t go down and that’s not a consistent issue. You give thise guys open 3's and they usually make them.

The SEC is frustrating this year. Every game is crazy and there are going to be some surprising outcomes, this is one of them.

Barnes has been great for Tennessee, he has more than earned some street cred in Knoxville. You’re guys will learn from this.

I get UK lost to Ohio State ( who just won at Purdue btw), @ UGA (not bad) and @ Vandy (ranked), but look at the schedule UK has played and look at the wins. UK's resume is, by far, better than Tennessee's and Florida's.

No they appreciate and acknowledge what he’s done at UT but even you have said it (over and over and over) each of the last few years that he’s had his best team ever and yet he flames out in the NCAA tourney. Not making a final four with the teams he’s had does make you scratch your head. We both know it’s hard to make a final four and away from the heckling and bugging you I really like Barnes but he should have a final four under his belt at Tennessee with the teams he’s had. Just like I don’t care to say Cal should’ve won more than one title at UK with the teams he’s had. But take a look at Arkansas roster, where is all this talent? Fland is gone.

Ado is awesome, but can't shoot.

Knox and Richmond are 4* freshmen, not good enough, not skilled enough.

Brazille and Aidoo, they are still in college for a reason.

Wagner… can't shoot and still only goes left trying to make hard jumpers.

Where is all this talent?

Take a look at Cal's successful seasons, each of those teams had multiple elite NBA talents. They covered up Cal's awful ISO system and bench coaching. Heck, he doesn't even scout opponents anymore, he’s lazy.

UK is going to sag off Arkansas just like they did to Tennessee, only Arkansas doesn’t have a Chas Lanier, or a Milicic.

I said it before the game, and will say it again now, UT had no business losing at home to a UK team without two starters and without both of its PGs. Simple as that.

Barnes should be embarrassed with his coaching last night. You know your team sucks from deep, and you could already tell last night that shots were not falling from deep. So what does he do, have UT continue to shoot from deep, which played right into UKs hands defensively. 45 3's??? He allowed his team to shoot 45 3's? Coaching malpractice, in my opinion.

Reminds of when UK shot 4-32 from deep against WVA in the 2010 Elite 8. The Cats couldn't throw it in the ocean, yet Cal allowed them to keep shooting. What an idiot.
