The SEC is shaping up to be a tough Conference

Look who’s back! You and JC haven’t been around much since the Ohio State game, are you feeling better now? Lol
Yeah...I finally had some free time after kicking your old lady out. Congrats on that big win over EKU by the way.

There is no UTjr at least not at Tennessee which was founded in 1796. Besides, you talk about ff like you have been there recently. Be glad UK has eked it’s way into the top 20.

I wouldn't call 3 W's against top 10 teams as eeking out anything. Sure 2 bad losses. Pope had a month to put together this team, which will likely be his least talented team. Meanwhile, 72 yr old Barnes is knocking on the door on his final season. Then Tennessee goes back to a what they were before, which wasn't much if I recall.

And Tennessee is UTjr.

I would say UK has only one bad loss. Losing by 4 at Clemson in front of a rowdy packed house with a brand new team playing its first road game together is nothing to be alarmed at.

Now the OSU loss was bad; however, that loss, outside of ramifications for potential seeding, means absolutely nothing. UK didn't show up, at all. They had no energy or intensity the entire game and deserved to get ran outta the gym. Good on OSU for pounding them physically. The Cats deserved it, and I am glad, actually, that if they lost, it happened in that manner. Can serve as a good wake up call.

As you alluded to, I look at the fact that UK is the only team in the country with three top 10 wins. That means far more then some meaningless loss to OSU, in my opinion.

Compared to undefeated I would.

Btw, who is UT's Sr? It certainly isn't UK as we were founded 70 years before y'all and we've been kicking your cans ever since.

This must be your first time being undefeated at this point in the season. Good job.
And sure, you been beating us in football since forever, but we've owned you in basketball since the dawn of time.

We have owned you in football forever, true. However, we have taken the upper hand with y'all in basketball for the last 10 years.

I didn’t realize how soft Florida’s schedule has been, Kentucky is the only ranked team they have played. Their best two wins are FSU and UNC.

Out of curiosity, how has UT taken the upper hand in basketball over the past 10 years? That timespan would include 22 meetings, in which both teams have won 11. So an even split. While that is better than UTs historical performance vs UK, they have in no way, shape, or form taken the upper hand over the past 10 years (2014/15 through 2023/24 seasons, which equate to the past 10 years).

Actually, you need to count tourneys and Barnes had an 11-10 lead when Cal left.

It's actually 13-7 in UK's favor according to Grok

If it makes you and UT fans satisfied to have a one game lead by specifically using a nine year time period, have at it.

I am not sure what that meaningless stat does for you guys, but enjoy it, nonetheless.
Nick, I like you.

Their metrics don't lie, they're very good and honestly, Tennessee has a pretty weak SOS too. That Illinois win is very impressive, but that's really the only really good team they have played.
Tennessee plays @ Florida Tuesday night, who ya got?

UK currently holds scoreboard on UT and now that Cal is gone, we can get back to normal.

th

1. You're a UK fan.

Wait, you were just arguing about the UT vs UK head to head record stretching to 9 years instead of 5.
The last game the 2 programs played was won by UK, that’s as recent as it gets, so, according to your own rules, UK > UT in recent and past history. 😜
She's living in 1998 still.

For whatever reason Tennessee doesn't get the same respect as Alabama or Auburn but since 2017 we have won the most SEC games and maybe the most overall games out of SEC teams. Barnes has won the SEC on 4 seperate occasions 3 in the regular season and 1 tourney.

Who are you trying to gain respect from? You must be watching different networks than me, the SECN and ESPN have been all over UT.

I mean, they talk about duke more than everyone, especially this year, they can't stop talking about Cooper Flagg (thank God he finally turned 18), but Tennessee gets a lot of air time. They raved about Knecht last year and Lanier this year. I think the coverage has been pretty good, but they aren't going to rave about UT the way they do duke, UK, UNC, UConn and KU.

Auburn and alabama both also have 4 SEC titles in that same time frame. Plus both have been to a final 4.

Well, the SOS the vols have played to this point, is rated 138th. If the Vols go through the SEC with only a few dings, they'll get a ton of praise.
Get out of here with SOS. Y'all have only played a few good teams and you have also gotten your asses kicked. The Vols are as pure as the driven snow!

It gets a little boring constantly having to point out your stupidity, BLOCKHEAD, but I'm always around.

In other words, I'll post when I feel the need to post. You should be hoping that me and others aren't smacking you in those flappy gums of yours after UK handed U6 yet another L for the 40th out of 57 attempts,

Vols about to take possession as the lone undefeated team.
When y’all hanging a banner for being the last undefeated team?

So y’all had a 70 year head start on us and we still dominated y’all in basketball this bad. Embarrassing!🤦🏼‍♂️

Right now the Vols are undefeated, not 70 years ago, but now. UK is sitting on a tOSU 20 pt ass whoopin. Right now, the Vols are #1 and the Cats are licking their many wounds. Poor kitties
