You call me Einstein, yet forget it’s “team’s” not “teams” in the same sentence. Fitting.
Never said The Big East is the best conference, but they are certainly doing better and producing great results with a lot less fanfare than some of the overrated “power” conferences.
I see ya tryin’, but you keep whiffing. You‘re making weak arguments, and worse you try to make poor arguments for me that I am not even attempting to make. Pretty sure that’s a fallacy.
Couple of things:
- you point out Marquette was bounced by msu, an upset, as if to poke at me. Yet, you conveniently neglect to mention your no.1 seed, purdue, got bounced by a sixteen seed! Oops! If you want to point out the upsets suffered by one conference, be honest about the ones the b1g fell prey to. Intellectually dishonest.
- I noticed you changed your avatar. Was that so I forget about what a colossal failure purdue is in the tournament of late.
- Your view is so simplistic. The Big East is not vastly underrated simply because of UConn. Overall the conference had a 12-4 record in the tournament, the best of all conferences. Maybe you should look into that before you be so dismissive.
- Conversely, the b1g had a pathetic 6-8 record. You get the most teams in and have an embarrasing showing.
- The last three years, the b1g has gotten 26 teams into the tournament, only ONE made it to the Elite Eight(Michigan in 2021).
- The pac was also a joke with a 3-4 record.
How is that for looking at more than one team? Thanks for playing.
I’ll just reiterate: pac and b1g haven’t won a title since 98 and 2000, respectively.
Why is it The Big East is supposedly a dead conference when they are clearly doing better than some of the “power” conferences? Again, pretty good for a dead conference, eh?
