Do they lead the nation in players with line beards and gay man ponies?

What was that they were chanting before “**** you Kevin?” Something about sucking Dick?

That last 3 was like 15 feet behind the line. It was a bad shot that gives KU the ball back up 8 under 3 minutes. Instead what happens is he hits it and they grab the momentum.

Dude just slipped. Batcho looks like he seriously hurt his hand on the rim.

Thought that was a trip. KU guy put his leg right into him. Looks like two games in a row where Kansas gets away with a pretty obvious late foul.

I thought so as well but the replay shows the defender put his body into him. It happens though, especially when the offense looks out of sorts.

Fran is acting like it’s weird that they didn’t call the foul on Batcho(Batcho was fouled). The refs haven’t really called anything tonight. They’ve let them play all night, they aren’t going to call an away from the ball foul with 8 seconds left.

Yeah but you’re looking at a game where they called Tech for a total of 5 fouls all night and only 10 fouls on Kansas. They were letting most of that contact go all night.

Yeah, and then they didn't call it on the other end when the TT dude clearly fouled on what could possibly be a dangerous play on the dunk (and hurt himself). Not sure what he was thinking there. He had no chance to make a play there.

He did hurt himself.

I don’t mind when the refs let them play….except during the old press days at WV… not sure why Huggins has gone away from that style.

Yep, weird when you mugged our guys in the paint all night. But that last no call was horse shit.
Oh seriously **** off and quit being a little bitch. You lost fair and square. You mugged our guys plenty. When your foul total over two halves wouldn’t even put your opponent in the bonus, you have zero room to bitch about refs.

Now go take your loss like a man.

Officiating was uneven as always, on both ends. One minute they’re allowing tackle football and the next they’re calling touch fouls.

Go **** your self
Nah, Cory is cool. He’s wrong on this one but he’s cool.

The guy who was driving tripped. That wasn’t a foul, particularly how they were calling them tonight. Fran is right though, Batcho was fouled. Still though, they let that contact go on both ends all night, so I’m not sure why they’d call it all of a sudden in that situation. But even if they do, you’re sending their worst FT shooter to the line in the single bonus. Chances are high he still misses it.

Eh, thought it was a missed call. Tech was lucky to even be in the game. They got away with a ton of fouls on their defensive end the last few minutes I thought. Still, it was clearly a foul IMO. Seems like an odd amount of angst for someone who just won the game.

If you admit that Tech got away with a lot of fouls, which helped them get back in the game, why is it an injustice that they didn’t get a call at the end?

Oh, I thought Tech got more calls than Kansas in the last few minutes (which is what I saw). I was just commenting in real time at the end of the game since we were watching. Wasn't meant to be casual or anything. Kansas has proven they make plays to win these sort of games this year IMO>

Is it an injustice? Technically I suppose all missed calls are in a way.

LMAO. Your refs are the only thing that allowed Tech to be in the game. Twice as many whistles on KU and 3x as many FTs for Tech.
That and hitting some crazy shots they’d normally miss.

Gotta feel good getting out of Lubbock with a win on a night they’re hitting buzzer beaters with a hand in the face and hitting ill-advised deep threes. Their defense isn’t what it has been in recent years. The only guy they seemed to want to guard on the 3 pt line was Grady Dick. They gave open looks to everyone else.

I mean, any road game against a decent team is a good win in conference play IMO. I never take a road win for granted.

BTW, any of you staying up New Mexico trying to stay undefeated on the road right now. Probably will but who knows? May be a good game for a while.

They’re not quite as strong as usual defensively, but their shooting is much better.

Notice how he undercut our dunk at the other end which is a blatant foul 99.9 % of the time. If they don’t call that they aren’t calling an off the ball questionable foul in a million years.

I mean, you’re saying they got screwed. What term would you apply?

I said Kansas got away with a late foul and did this weekend as well? Maybe not. I watch a lot of games. It's a little of an odd occurrence to happen two games in a row though. It's not a knock on KU nor takes away from how good they are. They should be the title favorite easily right now.

I don’t know about an easy title favorite.

They could have easily called a foul there and I was surprised they didn’t. It’s not unusual for refs to swallow their whistles in late possessions though unless it’s incredibly blatant.

I do think we got away with one against OSU for sure. Lots of body on that one. We will get those in AFH at times. But we also play in a lot of hostile environments and that call goes against us on the road, so I don’t mind when it benefits us.
