Vol fans need to chill out.
Yeah, it's a really sad day when I feel like rooting for Kentucky over Tennessee.agreed, they're starting to make rooting for Tennessee very difficult.
They all seem way too angry and have too many chips on their shoulder for a bunch of fans supporting a team having an a amazing 2 year run.

We don’t need you ****gotSeriously. They were easily my favorite SEC team, and now I root against them every chance I get.
What the heck does the OP have to do with Tennessee?
I’m not even talking about the Vols. To be honest, while I think we will be #1 this week, I think UVA has the better resume on paper as of today.
Any day you root for Uk is a sad day.Yeah, it's a really sad day when I feel like rooting for Kentucky over Tennessee.
Seriously, you're still pissed that someone preferred results to mathematical formulas for determining ranking that much?Seriously. They were easily my favorite SEC team, and now I root against them every chance I get.
If you can’t answer the question, that’s fine. Just say it.But duke beat UVA head to head without the most important starter... lol your entire post now makes no sense
Gonzaga has played three games against top 12 opponents. They’ve won one of those.
Duke has played six games against top 13 opponents. They’ve won five of them.
Overall Gonzaga’s strength of schedule is somewhere in the in the hundreds, per KenPom.
Duke’s is around 40something.
Sure, Gonzaga has the head to head, by a bucket. But otherwise there’s no real reason to pick Gonzaga ahead of Duke, unless you are one of those people who don’t know a ton about basketball and think that a game time loss of both your PG and best three point shooter isn’t a good reason to lose to a top 45ish basketball team with a fairly unique defense.

and this.Duke has 6 wins over the top 40. Gonzaga has 1.

I’m comparing Duke and Gonzaga. So far I’ve heard:
“I’m rooting for Tennessee to lose now”
-and
“”But Duke beat Virginia”
You mentioned Kenpom. That makes your entire argument false. Try again.
All valid points, and well said.Gonzaga has played three games against top 12 opponents. They’ve won one of those.

You forgot the /s to indicate sarcasm. Or you're not bright. Either way, post fail.
Zags conference schedule is ass
The PAC 12 is awful. The conference is actually way better this year than it normally is. WCC went 10-7 against the Pac-12 this year (with only one winning coming from Gonzaga). Saint Mary's and San Francisco are both in the KenPom top 50. And the WCC is ranked 9th in the conference rpi ratings. Which isn't great, I'll admit. Gonzaga has to be super impressive in order to merit a 2 seed or higher. But I'll concede that the conference schedule is actually more difficult this year than it has been in years past.
What hurts Gonzaga the most, in my opinion, is they don't have that many quality non-conference wins. Duke, yes, of course. But after that, you're looking at Washington (#47), Arizona (#51), and Creighton (#54). Saint Mary's is #33 and San Francisco is #43 - so with 5 wins over those two teams (counting the WCC Tourney), they're kind of getting more help from playing conference foes.... they also beat Texas A&M and Illinois, but this year those are essentially wins over mid-majors.
The PAC 12 is awful.
For the love of God, please reward Tennessee with the #1 ranking. Are they related to a Michigan poster?
