Not as embarrassing as Iowa's basketball history. This was a game between two programs who have won a national championship before. You can't say that about a single Iowa game this year.

I just feel bad for Boeheim. He’s better than just a 1 championship coach and I was hoping he’d get one last shot at a Title before riding off into the sunset. That’s not going to happen. The sanctions were a brutal shot to the gut and I honestly don’t know if the program will ever recover fully. The talent level has fallen off and it feels like the game has just passed him by. The ‘pro-style’ offense he’s run for a billion years doesn’t work anymore, not without start power. Heck, it’s not really even what the pro’s run anymore.
