No Texas Tech? Huh
They want the underdog role again
Texas Tech vs the world. #Don't lose your chip.
Probably shouldn’t doubt the ability of Beard to rebound next year but TT will lose 4 of their starting 5 assuming Culver leaves.
6 guys graduate and one guy is a graduate transfer out. We went on to go to the Elite 8 losing to eventual champion Villanova.
5 guys graduates, 1 declares for the NBA draft, and 3 guys transferred out. Went on to play in the championship game.
What happened in Year 1?
You can look at any situation from all sides.
You could say that Jarrett Culver and a bunch of YMCA guys could make the tournament.
Tech should be a good team.
But don't see them as a Sweet 16 next year
Truthfully have them anywhere from 3rd to 6th in the Big 12.
Pretty much where Texas and TCU are
First season was 18-14, 6-12 in conference. Lost some close games... L 61–65 at No. 5 Baylor, L 58–62 at Texas, L 61–62 at TCU, L 79–80 No. 3 Kansas, L 80–82 OT Iowa State.
We hadn't really implemented the defense then either.
