I really think Chuma should have been on one of the defensive teams, but the rest looks about right to me.

Lots of disrespect for Auburn. The voters also took the best backcourt in the entire country and stuck them on the second team.

Everyone is an All-American!! Yay!!!

several conferences have more than 5 spots on their all conference teams. Lots of conferences also have 1st, 2nd and 3rd team. SEC only has 1st and 2nd. Probably end up with the same amount of players honored as the conferences that stick to 5 but have 3 teams.

Hopefully we will start making some noise in late March and the years to come to with our recruiting classes coming in to change some perception. We seem to do better with a chip on our shoulder, though.

Pac12 had 10 people on its First Team All Conference. SEC needs to step their game up.

Some of that is just funny.

Coach of the year? Player of the year?

Williams was clearly player of the year, but Barnes should have been COY.

Why should Barnes win coach of the year? They were pre-season top 10 and picked to finish no worse than 2nd in the SEC which is exactly where they finished.

This award should clearly be going to Wade. 5th youngest team in the country, not a pre-season top 25 and yet won the conference and was undefeated on the road. Undefeated vs KY and TN as well. Wade getting screwed because he's too stupid to stay off the phone.

I would agree with you if Wade had not been caught red handed buying players.

della. all the fans of LSU do not believe Wade cheated. They do not consider FBI wire tap recordings as acceptable evidence/proof which is why they are in such an up roar to have their coach immediately reinstated.

IMO, after Wade, I would have gave it to Calipari, after him, Barnes for sure.

Oh that’s strange. I don’t remember seeing teams with that many players. What’s the rational behind such huge teams, rather than simply doing three teams of five?

Ties are not broken. They just include them all.

I thought Kermit was a good pick after Wade got busted. Not sure there is a great argument for others over those two. Maybe Ole Miss was supposed to be better than I thought though.

I thought PJ or Grant could have won POY. Both have been great.

Tennessee finished third.

Barnes returned a LOADED roster. Heck, Frank the Tank should've finished ahead of Barnes in the voting. 11-7 & 4th in conference with what he had.....was darn near miraculous.

A loaded roster of 2*s...
Frank's team pretty much got beat regularly and often.
