Running UK Game Thread: 1/18 Kentucky vs Alabama

That was the worst granted timeout I have ever seen in my life. Referees lmao

Wow…not to be out done that was a bullshit call against Kentucky! O-Way didn’t foul Nelson. That was complete BS!😂

It’s 9 to 2 in fouls this half. I think they’re getting more than a favorable whistle at this point…

Wonder if Kansas or Duke have ever been down 7 fouls to 1 at home? Feels like it happens every other game to Kentucky. Funny how they just stop calling stuff on one end.

Alabama getting a good whistle this half for sure. Kentucky needs to force the issue on their end. Bama is hammering the drives and trying to force the calls. I thought that last one was good defense though.

Yes, KU's been on the wrong end of foul disparities at home. There's no conspiracy against Kentucky. They get a great whistle at home.

The ability for the Bama drivers to kick out to exactly where the shooters are is pretty impressive. I didn't notice that against when they played UNC because they either shot uncontested layups or had open threes in other ways.

Some dagger 3s by Bama while UK defenders stand around and watch. That was an entertaining game for the most part. Too many whistles though.

Going for the pump fake when you are up late in games continues to be one of the dumber things players do. Very smart play from Butler though.

Yeah, I didn't really have any rooting interest but thought the way they started the second half calling stuff the way they did kind of set the precedence the entire second half and never let them play.

Always telling when neutral fans can see the difference. But ya know, those crazy UK fans

these refs could have reduced fouls to about 65% of what was called. Those touch fouls, ghost fouls and bad calls disrupts the tempo of the game.
Glad Bama won but something needs to change with the stripes

Yes, it's crazy to suggest there's a conspiracy to help other teams and hurt Kentucky. Why the hell would the NCAA want to hurt Kentucky? Lol.

Meh, refs tried to help UK out at times with some weak over the back calls.

Our guys played dumb too often and the defense is ass. You’re not going anywhere with a defense that is that bad.

The odds of winning the return trip to Bama, not good, that could be a drubbing.

Watching Travis Perry try to guard Bama's guards, is a joke, that’s not a game he can play in.

I was really hoping UK could protect home, but there goes that thought, now we sit on a home loss for a week. Awesome.

Ahh. So everyone but you saw a game where one team go fvcked on fouls more than the other and we are all wrong. Got it

I only saw a few minutes of it so I have no comment either way. Every team gets ****ed now and then, so maybe they did. The point is there's not an ongoing conspiracy to keep Kentucky down. Unless the NCAA hates money and enjoys death threats?
