Round of 32 by Conference

Zona beat Iowa State
Oregon beat Cuse
ASU beat Kansas and Miss St

But if you watch ESPN, none of those things happened and the pac lost every ooc game
Dude, you are acting like that is enough wins to say that the conference is good. It's not. That's a really terrible list of wins for an entire conference.

Florida State alone had wins over Purdue, Florida, LSU, and St. Louis in OOC. That is one ACC team that has comperable wins OOC to the entire PAC.

Keep hating on the PAC. Oregon will just have to keep winning the games people put in front of them. We will get some credit and recognition if we keep winning. On to 31-5 Irvine

Constantly heard it’s a one bid conference all year. Funny though, come tournament time everyone picked us to beat Wisconsin out of the mighty Big Ten, with ease
So what.

Watching Washington right now. They are not a good team at all. I get it, they're playing UNC, but Washington won the PAC and they are really bad.

Oregon came to life, they're a really good team, but guess what, there are more than 2 teams in that league and those teams were awful.

It is the worst P5 conference out there and it isn't close.

I realize you're all butthurt about it, but it's the truth. Own it.

Washington is so bad but they beat a higher seeded team by 17 in the first round

Compared to a the other P5 leagues, that's pretty pathetic.

What in the world does speaking facts about the PAC have anything to do with Oregon being solid? You realize both can be true? Oregon can be really solid (just imagine if y'all had Bol Bol) and the PAC can also be bad.

DB, you have to be trolling right?

They were a 9 seed that beat a mid major 9 seed.

Come in man, you're trying to sell mediocrity like it's greatness. The PAC was awful this year, none of these things you're throwing out are impressive to anyone .it it an awful league.

Pac is really bad but the Big East is solid? Sorry, don’t buy it.

Hmm you just said that talent doesn’t matter but now you’re dismissing a team with a good record because of their talent level. Seems like we agree

What league are you comparing the PAC to? Just the BIG East?

Or are you saying the PAC is comparable to any of the other P5 conferences?

Where did I say that? I said Utah State was a 9 seed and they were a mid major.

Why are you trying to pass it off like you beat a damn 2 seed it something? So what, UW beat a 9 seed.

I’m just tired of Oregon getting screwed because of seeding. It happened in 2013 when they committee gave us a 12 seed (of course we rolled the 5 and 4 seed that year before falling just short against the eventual national champs).

Our Final four team got a 3 seed despite going 29-5 that year.

It’s far more on par with the Big East and Big 12 than the acc, Big Ten or sec

True.

Who was a ranked team out of that list?

So out of the entire league, you can only dig up 5 decent wins?

That's pathetic. Arizona State has the only win that is worth s damn (Kansas). That's it.

They use metrics to determine seeding. Great, you went 29-5, but you did it against bad competition. Strength of record matters.

Why do you think Oregon got screwed on their seeding?

Screwed because of seeding??? Oregon woldn't have even made the tourney if they didn't win their conference tourney. You are really grasping at straws here and your arguments are really flawed. Which is annoying right now because you are normally even keeled.

Who said the Big East is solid? Everyone on here said St. John’s had no business in the Dance, that Marquette was average, and the Big East as a whole is way down.

Maybe you should have come on this board all year to see that we’ve been trashing the Big East too.

Those metrics proved trustworthy when Oregon kicked the shit out of Kansas in Kansas City

So you think the PAC12 is on par with the BIG12???? You're kidding.

Hate to say it, but you're clueless.

The PAC12 in 2018/19 is the worst P5 basketball conference I have ever seen.

Maybe if the PAC would beat more than 4 or 5 good teams OOC then y’all would get better seeds?

Just have to keep winning and prove ourselves. We can keep playing the underdog role. It just feels silly having a bunch of 4 star guys and playing in a major conference. Even everyone on this board knew we would beat Wisconsin

Yeah it’s bizarre. Like he’s drunk or something.

How did the big 12 hold up on March considering they got pretty much the whole damn conference in the tournament

And that was a great win. But it's not the committee's fault that Oregon had the resume of a 5 seed.

Why are you crying about this btw?

I can't believe someone actually has the nads to say the PAC12 is a good conference and they didn't deserve the critisism.

Man, you were dropped on your head or something. Wow .

PAC isn’t a good conference but it’s consistently singled out while the Big East and Big 12 get a pass

The BIG12 had more out of conference wins against really good/ranked teams this year. There isn't a team in the PAC that would crack the top 7 in the BIG12.

The PAC has been no where near the Big 12 the last few years. The Big East absolutely did not get a pass this year.

Yawn I was told that about the Big Ten and we ran their 4th best team out of the gym

What do you mean "get a pass"? Who got seeds they didn't deserve and who in the PAC should have gotten in? Who in the PAC should have had a better seed?

Doesn't mean your conference wasn't crap. Oregon is really good, but the topic here is conference strength. The rest of the conference is garbage and Oregon is the only one responsible for the seed they got.

Oregon is 24-12 man. They have the 89th rated offense. You lost to:
Texas Southern (really bad loss)
Baylor
Iowa (not bad)
Oregon State (really bad loss)
UCLA (really bad loss)
Colorado by 18 (bad loss)
Oregon State at home (REALLY BAD LOSS)
USC (another bad loss)

Oregon got the seed they deserved, so drop it.

You also got swept by Oregon State, lost to UCLA, lost to USC, Colorado and Texas freaking Southern. Congrats on beating an okay Wisconsin team.

But the losses I just listed are embarrassing. Trying to say Oregon deserved more credibility or a higher seed is simply laughable.
