PAC isn’t as bad as the narrative would have people believe
Of course, but you can justify putting ACC teams in the tourney at 10-8 in conference because the conference wins OOC games. PAC's only OOC wins the last 2 years have basically come from Arizona State.

PAC needs to step their game up and stop being the laughing stock that they are right now. And this is coming from a huge PAC fan.

Oregon beat Cuse this year as well. But the media has a narrative and the pac needs to do more to change it

The Pac was abysmal OOC. Losing record to the WCC.

The media narrative made people believe PAC teams are much worse than they actually are. It’s why you saw two lower seeded pac teams win with ease

I can’t speak for a media narrative. I don’t follow mainstream media. But the outcomes and actual games that I watched told me the PAC was easily the worst power conference this year. It was still a top 10 conference, but compared to the ACC or Big 10 it was awful.

Yawn. This led people to say that Oregon wouldn’t be able to hang with a top 5 team from the Big Ten. Instead, Oregon won with ease

the worst of the bunch, shut done Happ and you win the games. 14-6 BT and 23-11 tied with Maryland and Iowa, perception is in the eye of the beholder lil buddy.

Sorry lil buddy but Wisconsin didn’t finish tied for 4th. They finished in 4th by themselves. And if they were so bad, that doesn’t speak well for the rest of the Big Ten

not really has Happ was the heart n soul of their team. most teams have that one true leader on the team and Happ was Wisconsin, Edwards is that player for Purdue, Cass is that player for MSU, Jordan for Iowa, Simpson for Michigan. as those players go so do their teams.

No. Your feelings don’t change the facts. Wisconsin did finish top 4 in the Big Ten, even if you don’t like it. I was kinda shocked at their lack of athleticism. But the PAC teams always have athletes. PAC got a bad wrap during the year.

much deserved too. Wisconsin was at best a 7 seed, most people outside of Wisconsin were thinking that they would lose in the 1st round,

in facts are the prediction was that the BT would go 4-4 in the 1st round, but right now they have 3 teams in the sweet 16.

The facts are Wisconsin was a 5 seed based on how well they finished in the Big Ten. I was told the PAC was at the level of a low major and no PAC team could play with a top 5 team from the Big Ten. Then a team that came in 6th in the PAC ran the 4th place team from the Big Ten out of the gym. My point is the PAC was criminally disrespected all year

Again, I don’t know what “people” you’re referring too. I picked Oregon to win and did so with confidence.

Man, you have a serious case of little brothers syndrome or something. No one said the PAC was a “low major” conference. People said it was the worst power conference—and it was. Just look at the actual results from out of conference games.

Constantly heard it’s a one bid conference all year. Funny though, come tournament time everyone picked us to beat Wisconsin out of the mighty Big Ten, with ease

It’s looking a lot better than the Big East right now

It could have been a one-bid league had things broken a little differently with the bubble/conference tourneys. Bids are best on resumes not ability. And most teams in the PAC simply didn’t have an NCAAT resume.

But Oregon has clearly been playing good ball of late and it was a pretty easy pick over Wisconsin. We have a Rivals pick-em league that can prove it.

People need to consider talent levels of the teams involved when they are looking at resumes

But the resumes were awful. Your second place team lost to Vandy, that went 0-18 in SEC, and Princeton. Your third place team lost to Hawaii and Northwestern. A team tied for 4th lost to San Diego, Hawaii, and Indiana State.

Half your league lost 16+ games. And aside from wins over Kansas and Syracuse, there were essentially no OOC wins over good power conference teams.

You swallowed the propaganda. Focus on the losses, ignore the wins

Umm...that's my point. What wins? Kansas. Syracuse. And? I guess we could count Utah State, maybe?

What was Washington's best OOC win? What was Utah's best OOC win? What good OOC win did Oregon have after Syracuse, which even then is a decent but not great win? What was Colorado's best OOC win?

The PAC played some below average schedules and lost nearly every meaningful game. So how were the teams supposed to have good resumes? Listen, you're a good poster on the football board. But we know our stuff over here. If you think you're gonna waltz over here and pull the wool over the eyes of folks who don't watch a crap ton of ball...you came onto the wrong board.

Zona beat Iowa State
Oregon beat Cuse
ASU beat Kansas and Miss St

But if you watch ESPN, none of those things happened and the pac lost every ooc game

But if you watch ESPN
It's quite pleasant not having to hear the ESPN mouth breathers during the tournament. No Jay Bilas screaming WOW, or Jay Williams honking their ACC bias. Hearing these games called by other guys is so refreshing. I do miss Dan Dakitch

Bill Walton should get to announce all PAC tournament games

Lol. I don't watch ESPN talking heads, but you just proved my point. That's 4 solid wins for an ENTIRE CONFERENCE. FSU alone beat Big 10 Champ Purdue, SEC Champ LSU, and UF.
