Does he live in London? Cell towers in the area probably got blitzed too.
I thought I'd seen @Bert Higginbotha say he was from Somerset. Or maybe he just said he'd lived there before. Or maybe I'm dumb. Anyways you ok Bert? Somerset and London got hit hard. Western Kentucky is apart of Tornado alley now and it sucks. There was a Tornado about 15 minutes South of me yesterday. Fortunately I don't think there was any casualties with that one.
Bert's near Bowling Green. Saw him like some post this morning.
My brother just outside of Somerset, he's fine.
We may post of lot of nonsense, but i'd like to think we're all friends/family here.
Glad he's okay. I think I read the cell that produced many of the Tornados went for like 450 miles or something without stopping. That's a long ass ways.
We got some crazy wind and little bit of hail in Henderson but fortunately no devastating Tornado.
Yep. Not being able to see it coming has to make one feel helpless. And it seems like that's when all the Tornados hit Kentucky is at night-time.
My house is in Smiths Grove, KY 10 miles north of the Bowling Green Corvette exit. No damage there according to my neighbors.
I am now at my daughter's house in Shepherdsville, KY due to health issues with me and my wife. We are both scheduled for surgery on May 21 in separate hospitals in Louisville at the exact time. Thank goodness we have two children. My son is going with me and my daughter is going with my wife.
Our lights did not even flicker here last night. Random, I think, is from London, plus my daughter and son in law went to London to see KYJeff and his wife and to see Random. The storm may have preempted seeing Random but got through the storm without any problems.
My daughter has communicated with him since the storm. He is okay according to my source.
He's good. He texted me back yesterday.
I'm in London too, at a campground with Bert's daughter. We spent the night in the bathhouse at the campground. It missed us by 3 miles.
Didn't think the damage here was going to be too bad, then we saw the news yesterday morning and realized just how lucky we were. EF5 and it destroyed everything it touched.
Yeah, he lives in London, cell servive hasn’t missed a beat out here, have had good cell service the whole time.
But Random is good, he and I texted for a bit yesterday.
He flinched like a bitch.
