Facts don’t lie. He cheated while under the UTk supervision.
On this we agree. Like a responsible organization, UT fired him. UT didn't get a "show cause" penalty from the NCAA, Pearl did. Auburn hired a known cheater and liar.
You should learn not to argue the indefensible. It makes you look bad.
We have rehabilitate guys that come from troubled organizations. Everyone deserves a second chance. Especially ones that come from a corrupt program.

According to the NCAA, the schools with the most number of major infractions cases:
SMU, 10
Arizona State, 9
Oklahoma, 8
Wichita State, 8
Auburn, 7

All of those were mainly from the era bear Bryant where bama would cheat an Auburn would get in trouble. 3 of those 7 were for the same incident. Auburn hasn’t been charged with anything in close to 30 years. What else you got to deflect away from that your program corrupted Bruce Pearl?
Auburn expects basketball program to receive Notice of Allegations from NCAA

In a victim impact statement that Auburn University filed to the Manhattan federal court last week, it stated that it expected to receive a formal Notice of Allegations form the NCAA.
“As a result of [Chuck] Person’s misconduct,” the impact statement read, “Auburn expects to receive a formal Notice of Allegations from the NCAA in the coming months.”
The statement, which AL.com obtained through court records, was filed on July 11, and was written for the court to consider in its sentencing hearing for Chuck Person, which took place on Wednesday, July 17. Person received no prison time, and must complete 200 hours of community service.
In the five-page statement, Auburn University detailed thoroughly its belief that Person was a rogue actor, an that no one else at the school knew of his actions. It also stated that he violated the trust of two student-athletes — Danjel Purifoy and Austin Wiley — in giving them money against NCAA policy.
Additionally, Auburn University complained of the significant damage this legal saga has had on the university’s reputation, and the cost financially.
The school also noted that Purifoy received $1,250 in direct payments from Person, and that Wiley received $800 in direct payments as well. Those figures had previously not been disclosed — only the $4,500 in payments that Person made to Purifoy’s family.
An Auburn spokesman said the university declined any additional comment.

Chuck person went rogue. He is not rightfully going to spend some years behind bars. He literally tried to do stuff that didn’t benefit auburn

No he was steering them towards leaving and signing with a certain agent. Once we got them committed to said said agent he was set to get a cut from the agent.
Colgate won the Patriot League last year, they were within single digits of Tennessee in the first round, and they returned most of their guys. Yet they apparently forgot how to play basketball in the last few months. Can't figure them out.
Auburn is going to be really, really good, of course. Starting to think they have a legitimate shot at winning the SEC. Those South Alabama and Davidson wins will look a lot better come January.

I'm done with LSU this year. They're the dumbest, ,most poorly coached team I've ever seen. Not a single person in that program can figure out how to beat a full court press/trap. Two losses in a row because of that.
And Javonte Smart has regressed. I'm officially dusting off his old nickname from last year and he will now once again be known as Javonte Stupid.
And of course Skylar Mays figured out a way to blow the game at the very end with a bonehead play. Don't care how good he was during the rest of the game, winning time is what matters and he's a loser.

Looks like you guys have bounced back well from the Evansville debacle.
WTF happened there? As SEC BlueBloods, AU and UK have an obligation to not allow let downs of such epic proportions.
