Self made a couple great adjustments leave that dude alone being one of them
He’s made that decision before though only to have 25% 3 pt shooters hit 5 or 6 in a game.

KU's FT shooting has been abysmal, and it kept Miami in the game. It can get ugly for them later in the game if they cant figure it out at crunch time.
Early on it was because our worst FT shooter took 4 of them, but now our best FT shooters are missing. We simply shoot our average we are up by 11 or 12.
If Kansas had hit their normal FT percentage this would be a 20pt game now
KU pulling away now, I suppose halftime adjustment worked well for Bill Self this time.
And Martin is yet to put his stamp on the game. KU is in great shape.

KU still shit on the FT line though, even a 3pt shooter cant make all the FTs.
Not smart. But it was a desperate situation. The lid came off for us and they were down 11. A good shooter had an open look. He just got too aggressive on the recover.
I was at a KU game earlier in the year and thought the old guy playing drums for KU looked familiar. Then found out after the game it was Danny Carey the drummer for Tool.
15pts lead, I think this is game. KU has waken up after the break and Miami just aint good enough to hang with them.
Really a coaching clinic in the 2nd half. I bet he whipped some ass at the half in that locker room.
This one is very similar to the 2013 second round game, in which KU played tight against 8th seed UNC and down 21-30 after the half. They came out as a different team after the break, outscoring UNC 49-28 and won that game comfortably by double digit.
