Is Minnesota part of the west in this hypothetical?Would MSU win the West?
Is Minnesota part of the west in this hypothetical?
Sounds like they can beat anyone and lose to anyone. But if you want to imagine they would to help you feel better, no one is holding you backIllinois and Wisconsin too

This is clearly a West vs East dig.You realize I hate MSU, right?
This is clearly a West vs East dig.
Like I said, if it makes you feel better, you can imagine Mich St won the West this year
Give me your answer to the question. It’s not a dig. It was a question you took as a dig.
Give me your answer to the question.
Mine is yes. 5 loss Michigan State would run the table minus Minnesota. The evidence is out there
Were they in your tier last year when they beat you?I think they are on the same tier as Illinois/Minnesota/Wisconsin/Purdue
Then I amend my answer.
Then I amend my answer.
They’d finish third at best behind Wisconsin and Illinois. 50/50 on Purdue and Iowa too.
Sometimes teams lose to worse teams. Michigan proved that last year
Head to head isn’t a good indicator.Well they are 2-1 against the West with wins @Illinois and vs Wisconsin. What do you think their record would be if they played the rest of the West (Iowa, Purdue, Nebraska, Northwestern).
Head to head isn’t a good indicator.
Michigan St was a tier below Michigan last year, remember?
I said last Saturday that Wisky was going to run the table and win the West. So predictable.Look at that. 2nd place in the West. 😂
Did you enjoy your volleyball beat down?Hoosiers open tonight vs Morehead State. I'll be there, so no great, "in-game" analysis tongiht.
Sorry,guys. 😁
TBH I don't see how we are not better than we are....Great talent in the state.Did you enjoy your volleyball beat down?
I didn’t watch but we are rolling at the moment. 12 straight I believe. From reading online it sounds like you are improving.TBH I don't see how we are not better than we are....Great talent in the state.
When the worst team in the East beats the best team in the West, we can end this East vs west talk.
Would have been a good matchup had Morehead St. not lost a bunch to the portal. Should be an easy win now.Hoosiers open tonight vs Morehead State. I'll be there, so no great, "in-game" analysis tongiht.
Sorry,guys. 😁
I am working Bookers game(Cathedral vs Jeffersonville) on Nov 26th.On3 rankings 2023 (updated today)
9. Xavier Booker (MSU)
26. Devin Royal (Ohio State)
29. Coen Carr (MSU)
34. Taison Chatman (Ohio State)
36. Papa Kante (Michigan)
39. Gavin Griffiths (Rutgers)
43. DeShawn Harris-Smith (Maryland)
47. Jamie Kaiser (Maryland)
50. Carey Booth (Penn State)
51. Gehrig Normand (MSU)
54. Jeremy Fears (MSU)
69. Scottie Middleton (Ohio State)
79. Myles Colvin (Purdue)
85. Amani Hansberry (Illinois)
86. Nolan Winter (Wisconsin)
88. Jakai Newton (Indiana)
90. Dennis Evans (Minnesota)
99. Gabe Cupps (Indiana)
100. Pryce Sandfort (Iowa)
108. Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn (Illinois)
110. Cameron Christie (Minnesota)
125. Gus Yalden (Wisconsin)
128. Owen Freeman (Iowa)
Quick MSU opinion. I think 9 is a lot more appropriate for Booker than top 3 based on what he’s shown. Coen Carr top 30 feels a bit generous, still not a shooter. I like Normand at around 50. But goddamn, Fears at 54? IMO Fears should be our second ranked recruit. I feel like if Carr and Fears were swapped I’d agree a bit more. Senior season will change a lot but Jeremy Fears was debatably U17’s best player this summer.
Where's Gil to get it going? Are we doing an in season thread or just letting this one ride?
Probably because Purdue is a much better program lol.TBH I don't see how we are not better than we are....Great talent in the state.
Nolan Winter over Dennis Evans lulz. Tells me all I need to know about these rankings.On3 rankings 2023 (updated today)

On3 is consistently as awful as ESPN rankings, which is astounding considering they don’t have the brand name to fall back on.Nolan Winter over Dennis Evans lulz. Tells me all I need to know about these rankings.
Looks about right.Nolan Winter over Dennis Evans lulz. Tells me all I need to know about these rankings.
Bud, if you're going to troll us about In-Season info, at least post in the In-Season thread
No. The entire Purdue rivals operation moved to a different platform and there's an entirely new Purdue team running the rivals operation. That has been in the works for months. She got someone fired?
Just because Jesus loves ya, I DONT?! HOW does that not make me Christian!? It makes me HUMAN!!Calling someone "Neubitch" is very Christian, definitely.
We have a winner here!
