***Official B1G In-Season Thread***

That is the toughest front line I have seen in the BIG. Physical as hell.
They're athletic but a lot of iso ball. Did think IU played some solid defense. Wish we had this team all year they wouldn't be squeaking into the tournament, but on the other hand we might still have woody

Don't see Ballo getting banged around like that often. He still had a good game. O is very athletic and took advantage of Goode's defense. Hope we see that rematch.

Honestly, I think TKR is the POY. He kept you guys from losing the fifth straight and a couple others. Tonje is a close second.
I could definitely see the argument. Just need to look at on/off splits when TKR is in foul trouble to see his importance. On the flip side, TKR is at the forefront of what I see are our two biggest challenges (defensive rebounding and rim protection).

I just feel like Braden is more impactful on both ends of the court and Tonje has transformed Wisconsin's identity.

The staff needs to teach Renn how to set screens in a way that won't get him rung up. But IMO he is the primary reason for PU's success. I am just not as high on Smith as others are, and that is ok...he is a very good player and an absolute steal from an NIL standpoint.

I'd say about 1/3 of TKR's moving screens are Braden's fault. You have to be patient and let your big get set before going and Smith struggles with that at times.

I will look for that, he also tends to lean or extend the elbow/shoulder a bit ballside.

Lol, true. I do root for msu when it doesn’t impact UM.. And I am happy for Izzo and this group. Also my wife is happy so that helps. 😂
I understand your situation. In my first year at State, three guys on my dorm floor were AA Pioneer High School grads. They were huge fans of the Wolverines. Additionally, my girlfriend has been a long time Michigan football season ticket holder.

Nah, it is just weird. I have had these purdue fans do this for five years, but mostly on the home board which is free. But for this one to actually pay for the privledge is next level obsessed.
Lmao are you paying for the “privledge” to post on a free board?

I always took it as a compliment for a long time but it has gotten really creepy. This may not be for me at this point.

Yeah there are so many pioneer grads at MSU (like me).

So interesting to see how some of us can’t shake our UM fandom and others (like my buddy Tony Garcia at the Freep, who does a pretty decent job hiding it) completely flip into UM hating MSU fanatics haha.

Rivalry is fun and we all blow each other shit mostly in fun. When it gets creepy it isn't fun and with technology the way it is none of us need someone showing up on our doorstep
