Moze seems to leave his feet and expect to be able to make a circus shot or magical pass (which he does sometimes) but a quicker longer defender will create a TO.

Yeah I think he was just trying to do way too much and the refs were letting msu be super physical.. which didn’t bode well for him. I wouldn’t consider Hollomon, MSU’s bigs, or some of the guys who had multiple steals to be overly athletic compared to some other teams Smith has dominated. Just really good team defense and a home environment/whistle.
He shot the ball well still and had 8 assists. The turnovers were just killer unnecessarily forcing things. MSU has the bodies and transition offense to make you pay on the scoreboard and wear you down in transition if you’re not deep. As a turnover prone UM team that lacks depth I am also worried about that.
Still to put up that stat line and have them in a 1 possession game at the end if not for the Hiede “moving screen” on an off night is impressive to me. MSU is a very legit defensive team.
You hit the nail on the head here. Our lack of bench scoring is rearing its ugly head and Colvin/Heide can’t throw it in the ocean right now. Sometimes he tries to do too much and selfishly I wish he’d look for his shot more often. But having us in a one possession game when overall we didn’t play well is a testament to how good he is.
Izzo has done a teriffic job with this roster.
From the 14 minutes or so I saw, neither team had anything to complain about from an officiating standpoint...that was far from perfect but balanced.

Tonje is making a run at B1G POY. He had a very forgettable stretch in Dec and Jan that will make it hard for him to catch Smith (at least that's what the talking heads are saying) but he's been ridiculous:

The Illini have lost 7 of there last 12 and still ranked #20.🤣🤣🤣
Still 7-7 in Q1 with the #15 SOS. 5 of the 7 were very respectable losses. USC and Rutgers are head scratchers.
They are probably still a 6 seed if the bracket was released today.
It takes a lot for me to give Greg Gard credit for anything, but NO coach in America thought Tonje was capable of this type of season prior to signing with Wisconsin.
Gard deserves a ton of credit for not only fitting him into their scheme, but giving Tonje the reigns to flourish.
I found it amusing how he blamed Furst for his poor pass after getting caught in the air during the first half. I think the guy thinks a little too highly of himself.
Didn't notice that but a quick longer defender is going to force him into creating something off of his feet. Sometimes that works and he has some numbers to back it up. Matchups for them in the NCAA will be critical.
This season probably saves his job for another year. He needs to make a Sweet 16 at minimum or I’d still want him fired.

No idea. AD is pretty much tied to Fickell. He’ll sink or swim with him. I don’t even give two shits about football. Much rather watch volleyball in the fall.

Knock it all you want. Our football product sucks so much ass right now it’s just not worth watching. I at least get to experience what a dominant program is with volleyball. I can’t stand women’s basketball but can get behind the volleyball program.

Just read an article on Derik Queen. It said he is 2-22 from three this year. I thought there's no way that's right. I'm certain he hit 2 or 3 against Purdue. So I checked. Sure enough, he was 2-5 against Purdue and 0-17 against everyone else. I swear that shit happens to us a lot. 
Will Michigan lose 2 more? Because I think Wisconsin can win out.

Yeah.. Even sweeping home will be a tall task for UM with that remaining schedule. I think the winner(s) will probably have 5. Wisco might be most likely to end up with 4 but I personally don’t think they will win out, especially since they have to play at the Breslin. If MSU can split these next 2 they could certainly win out as well tho imo. If they win @ UM they will definitely have the best shot imo.

Michigan owns the tiebreaker over Wisconsin which is nice
I guess. But tiebreakers only matter for BTT seeding and I'm not sure it's a big deal to be the 1 seed vs the 2 seed.
