I think it’s clear after watching them Friday night and whatever the fvck they were doing last night that they are still a top 5 team but are certainly not on the different level that Trojan kept saying they were. They have holes like other elite teams.

I’m not going to say we didn’t get Fears, because we stopped prioritizing him.
I am very happy with Cupps and Newton, and it should only get better if we add Little. We have a 5* PG in the previous class, so missing out on Fears really wasn’t a big deal.
I don’t think they’re unbeatable (obviously, they just lost), but I’m confident that they finish as the most efficient offense in the nation. They have too many weapons.
I’m not interested in parsing through some semantical argument about where they fit among the other elite teams, but I maintain my disagreement with the insinuation that there are any takeaways from their game against Tarleton yesterday. They weren’t trying.
