Maryland not looking awful lately. Crazy to think their last sweet 16 was 6 years ago. Crazier to think Illinois's last sweet 16 was 17 years ago.
Yeah, we were REALLY bad from Dee Brown leaving campus (after 2006) to Underwood getting his recruits in place. Then, of course, no Tourney in 2020 when we’d have a decent shot and the infamous Loyola loss last year. :(

It’ll be so white in the stands Purdue will go blind.
Just ordered these for the whole team:

Hunter Dickinson 3P shooting:

66.6% against Purdue (6-9)
26.3% against everyone else (10-38)

GG Michigan. 3 tough games left. You probably need to win a couple of them and maybe 2 in the B10 tourney? I really haven’t paid much attention to how soft the bubble is this year but that seems about right to me.

Bubble is soft. 2 out of the next 3 they would be in. That’s a 11-9 conference record with good metrics. 1 win out of the next 3 and they might need one in the BTT.

If they only win 1 out of next 3 then they will need at least 1 in the B10 tourney. They are currently 15-12. I can’t imagine 16-15 being good enough no matter how soft it is. Plus that loss in the B10 tourney would likely be a bad loss as it would obviously be against a lesser team.

Sucks hes so commited to going pro, going hurt to see him leave to go undrafted when it seems like every other b1g team gets at least 3 years out of their legit bigs
Is he definitely gone? I think he needs another year. Plus I figured NIL would help make it easier to stay. But with UM caring more about football, that isn’t as good as it should be, I’m guessing.

What are the young 5 stars going to do?

Michigan is horrific with NIL

Enough money to basically buy the big Ten . More billionaires than every other school in the conference combined and Nickle and dime with the NIL

Pathetic

I think he could make more money at UM from NIL than I’m the NBA. Unless he can drop weight but he just as effective at the stuff he’s already good at and the 3 point shooting improves I just don’t see it. Garza was a more skilled offensive player, has significantly changed his body, and still struggles to get minutes on a bad Pistons team.

If you guys win, Purdue will finish third behind Illinois and Wisconsin, which is hilarious.

If Purdue wins, all Illinois has to do is beat up in scrubs and they get a B1G championship.

Classic win/win scenario

Your coach sucks. Play the young guys, get a high draft pick. Then trade Garza to a team that will use him.

Honestly, then he should transfer instead of going pro.

I’m just shocked they do over like all 13 schools combined.
I mean how many billionaires went to Iowa or Nebraska or Illinois lol

ACC is much more of an academic conference. Duke , UNC , Wake and Virginia are all pretty elite schools

I think Gilbert is worth more than anyone who graduated from Michigan tbh

This um is basiclaly against putting together the type of nil deal Dickinson would need, Dickinson was already crying the off season about um’s terrible nil program.

Did you just compare Illinois to Nebraska academically? Illinois has 3.

Also, from most of the articles I just looked up, you are very incorrect on your numbers…

Larry Page is #6 on the Forbes top 100 and went to UM. He just doesn’t give AF about athletics.

I just scanned this article but Michigan has 6 in the Forbes 400. MSU has 4. Illinois and Maryland each have 3.
