What a shit out of bounds play after Purdue's fvck up. That might be worse than the Michigan loss.
I'' get shit for this, BUT----that wasn't a bad play, really-----And here's where I will get the shit. WIlliams is a secondary defender.....in the arc....And unless you JUMP, and go straight up, contact by a secondary defender , in the arc, is a foul.....

But those dudes wanted out of Mackey alive...

Dumbass clock operator started the clock on the pass along the baseline but the official should have taken it back to 8.1 and not called it a deadball.

He blew the whistle before Ivey caught it.
Once the clock started, that was that. Ball becomes dead....Once it becomes dead, the throw-in, becomes a spot throw.

True, but with Williams waiting, I would have chosen a mid-range shot from Fatts or Scott..
Fair....A pump fake there would have been good. I liked the design....But also, I think you go over the top, and let Fats go one on one....

I was wondering when the Purdue fans would return :p
We looked like shit and I didn't even watch the 2nd half. Glad we won. Good effort from Maryland. End of a long week for us. Our guys just looked uninspired. Need to regroup for the back half of this schedule.

They weren’t calling a foul on that no matter what. A fatts jumper was the way to go.

I feel like if it’s a deadball Clock issue, they should just correct the issue and everything goes back to the way it was before the clock issue occurred. That only makes sense to me.
I don't disagree..

Edit---I also THINK, but not sure, since the ball was in-bounded, that played a role as well. I just know it was, BY RULE, the correct call----And you even see the official telling HUnter it was a spot throw-in...So Hunter knew.

So the officials should just ignore the rules? Get a better clock guy......

At the end of the day, the out of bounds play still followed a made basket. Purdue should’ve had the ability to run the baseline regardless of something 100% out of their control.

JTFC Purdue. Get a new clock operator.
We need a new shot clock too. Still though, if the refs said it's a spot foul then Ivey should have been shooting FTs. If not, then we should have been able to move on the inbounds. Just another awful call by awful B1G refs

Agree, but if the rule is what it is, we still turned it over. Just glad it didn’t bite us.

We played like shit. Thankfully our seniors and Ivey stepped up in the last 10 minutes. That would have been a seed line loss.

No,it didn't....There was a made basket----THEN a deadball situation. Its the rule. If ya don't like it, email the NCAA.

Gross performance. But a win is a win, or whatever.

Really need to go 4-1 down the stretch to feel good about their chances as a contender in March.
We need to win out at home, and steal a road game, to even worry about March...

How did 0.3 seconds come off the clock? It should’ve still been 8.1 seconds with the ability to run the baseline.
