Lol if you actually believe that.
It's hilarious watching this dude pivot arguments and back himself into a corner continuously. He's now arguing that RP would start at Purdue.

The same RP who doesn't even have a career 40/30/70 slash at PG.
The same RP whose coaches were forced to find a transfer replacement because he's so mediocre.

SMH.

What’s wrong with either of those? Trevion was supposed to be an All American, so of course you would rather face his backup.

It was debatable at the time who had the best backup big in the league. Even you Purdue fans had no clue Edey would be starting over Trevion.
You still speaking for the rest of the B1G - or just yourself now?

Your current starter at PG is IT 😂😂😂

Let’s hear your projected stat line and mpg for Morton after Gillis gets back.
Pretty pedestrian honestly. 12 minutes, 3 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal.

And sadly, that will still be better than your 5 star sophomore.

Yes, because our 5* sophomore is not in the rotation. He will probably still end up with more points scored this year than Morton.

I thought our game with Seton Hall was going to be the easiest of Osu’s high profile OOC games. With Sueing possibly out for the year I wonder if they can win any of them.
Wait. Sueing is now out for the year? That sucks.

Lol yes, it’s much easier to score points playing 3 minutes a game than 20 minutes per game… 😂

Against back-ups and walk-ons? Lol. But hey kudos to you if Lander outscores Morton this year. Doesn’t make him a better player.

No that wouldn’t make him a better player. The fact that he is a better player makes him a better player.

I should amend my statement though. I had forgotten Purdue gave Brian Waddell a scholarship, so Morton is only the 2nd worst Big Ten scholarship player now 😉

Bad loss for Michigan but I’m not really too concerned. This team is going to look very different as the year goes on. Step one is Brandon Johns need to be a 5 min a game player as the 8th or 9th man. Has absolutely no confidence and is just useless on offense, though he is a good defender and rebounder. The rest is just young players maturing. Houston, Diabate and Bufkin are the key to this season. Bufkin in particular I think is a guy who they won’t be able to keep off the court come March.

That would be a massive loss imo. I thought OSU really needed him to do some off the dribble stuff and creating.

I believe we were told that Johns was going to be very good this year.

I believe we were told that Johns was going to be very good this year.
Some people believed that after he had a solid NCAA tournament last year. I was not one of them. He just doesn’t have the mental makeup needed to be a top player. If he had Chaundee Brown’s mentality he’d be All Big Ten.

As I’ve said all off-season, when March rolls around there will be zero reason to put Johns on the floor over guys like Bufkin or Diabate.

The point is you were saying it for 2 reasons. The first is because it’s obvious teams with guard play can do this to you. The second is because you wanted to be able to time stamp a post to soften the blow.
Either way, a loss to 35 at home with a fully healthy team is not good. I’m reassessing.

I’ve posted here for 8 years and you think time stamping posts to soften the blow is what I do? Amazing take. It’s a sweet conundrum you build for me, though. Either I predict we win every game easily and you can call me a homer or I think there are games we might struggle and you run with this time stamp thing.

RP and Johnson are significantly better than IT and Hunter. Hunter has completely lost his offensive game.
RP and Johnson are brick layers from three and turn the ball over way more than IT and EHJ. Also can guarantee a couple techs for Johnson at some point this season too.

Its kind of disgusting how Purdue didn't draw Duke in the B1G/ACC challenge and OSU did. I get brands and all that, but still a pretty lame reason.

Morton and Hunter make RP and Johnson look like Steph Curry from 3. As for the techs, how many does Johnson have on the season? How many techs do Purdue players have at this point?

I think you’re mixing up fact and opinion again.

I think the school's brand is much higher profile and that flows down to a perception that the basketball brand is bigger.

Their football brand is massive, but their basketball brand isn't as big as Purdues, IMO.

Purdue is known as a basketball school. OSU isn't really.

But overall brand recognition, yes, OSU football is King. Rivaled only by Michigan football in the Big 10

Brand would be the only reason they'd pick OSU over Purdue, considering the pre-season expectations of the two teams.

Your posting here as much as you do is why your motives are completely transparent to everyone here.

It’s as clear as day. As soon as we saw you posting about a potential loss, it was apparent that you were covering your ass because you just spent an entire night acting like a jackass, and you didn’t want to eat the shit burger you saw coming.

It’s quite funny that you think the people on this forum are dumb enough to think otherwise. Classic Hail.

As if that one screenshot absolves him from the copious amounts of off-season shit posting in regards to Michigan's upcoming season, and the amount of trolling he was on last night. Yawn.

I said Seton Hall would be a tough test before Illinois lost. I then restated it. Because they are are tough test.

Again, it’s a weird conundrum you put me in. If I think Michigan will win every game easy, you’ll blast me for being a homer. If I think there are games Michigan could struggle, you’ll blast me for “covering my ass”.
