Remember when Purdue started 1-2 and now they are 10-3 in conference and tied for 1st place
I still can’t believe that’s how our season ended sometimes. PU is playing as well as we were during the end of last season, they look elite.
I haven’t been posting as much because I’m pretty disengaged with this team and it’s future. I was at the game and that shit was just depressing. Since our 2017 class, we have just fvcking whiffed on all the guys we’ve brought in. No consistency. I’m frustrated because I really don’t see us being at Izzo’s level of success over the next few years.
That said, I think we should start Akins at PG and give Pierre Brooks more minutes. These 2 seem to have some fight in them and play well, they just don’t get many minutes. Akins is the most high energy dude on the team. He’s not the best shooter but he seems to get more right than the other 2 right now.
But hey, our football recruiting is off to a great start. I like what Tucker is doing. I’m probably checking our football board to see the next 4 star we think we’ll get than the basketball one during the basketball season.

Purdue over their season average tonight. Lights out in the 2nd half.
You played pretty great. Illinois is good defensively and a good team overall, and if you “blow us out,” it’s not going to be start to finish.
Purdue is the best team in the conference and I’m not sure it is all that close (duh…16 points).
Wisconsin is a tough team for me to process. They are MSU/Iowa with the cherry on top of Davis.
Neither of those teams have a legitimate shot of doing anything in the tournament. S16 is a win for both.
They’re Northwestern with Davis. NW is actually better offensively, believe it or not. Just don’t have a closer, and are slightly worse defensively.
Doubling down on stupid takes I see. Take a day and get Purdue’s cock out of your mouth and anus.
It’s a legit concern. Your guys’s “Covid issues” really put Purdue in a bind on the schedule. Travel issues back from Minnesota because of the winter storm to a home game against Michigan, tough emotional home game against Illinois, and then a 2 day turnaround on the road to a team you just beat is going to be tough.

Actually, I did.......Tonight was a tough one. I have little doubt we win with a full compliment of players....No Stewart, Johnson, Durr, Lander or Bates.....Only had 7 scholarship dudes available.
At 16-5, 7-4, with Illinois/NW, at worse, 1-1.
