Talking about next year right now is dumb given what we are playing for.
No surprise an IU fan wants to tho. You are used to your season being basically over by now.
I’m hopeful he can get back in the next few weeks but this injury happened vs Illinois in BTT final last year and still hasn’t healed.
Towns had a great offseason and then got hurt again in October. I’m not hopeful for him this year. Apparently he can play next season so maybe that’s a possibility.
You may want to go back and actually read the thread. @boiler1987 started this conversation by asking who everyone was losing next year. If you have an issue with talking about next year, maybe you should take it up with him.
Obviously this should be getting talked about more but also “something something stones glass houses”
Edit: also I’m not sure if this is the forum to be discussing it. Mostly because we’re probably not equipped to and also it wouldn’t accomplish anything. Trying to make it some “gotcha” moment because it’s not being talked about on a relatively unused forum doesn’t accomplish anything.

Furst was pretty damn solid before he got COVID. Starting to get back into game shape.
Difference is Furst has actually proven himself this year while Duncomb hasn’t. I’m guessing your frontcourt will be much worse than ours next year assuming TJD and Race are both gone.

Race will most likely be back. Even with Race back, we will need a transfer or we will be bad.
I’m guessing Durr will be asked to play around 20 or 25 minutes a game next year. Not sure how I feel about that, but I suppose he’s shown flashes of being a competent defender and rebounder with a decent mid range shot.
Biggest development for Purdue over the last 7 or so games has been Eric Hunter getting back to being Eric Hunter. Not going to be the star of the game by any means but glad to see him playing well again.
I think Durr is really bad. Like borderline not playable. If he has a big role next year we suck, imo.

Disagree....He's not that bad. I will say this---we don't beat Purdue w/o him.
He's not tht bad---He has a nice mid-range jumper. Makes his FT's. Needs better fotwork, and a new set of hands. But him getting 20+ a game next year isn't the end of the world. PLus, never know TJD will do. Or, who we can get via the portal. Or what type of improvement Duncomb can make.

Just looked at it....3 of your first 4 B10 are on the road---and you open with Penn St. OOC is a snoozer---but @ Syracuse I guess could be tricky.
A lot can happen but we just won 9 with an extremely difficult schedule (with 2 of 3 crossovers being against OSU and MSU) plus ND in the non-conference. This year sets up much nicer.

Zavier Simpson sat more for missing curfew than Appling did.
When you can admit that Appling should’ve been suspended for conduct unbecoming of an athlete people might take you seriously.
More people here talked about Zavier Simpson missing curfew than the Nassar scandal. Where was this outrage then?
