Between this and the Jordan brand game, I’m pretty stoked to watch Herro play against competition that isn’t mostly 6’0 corn fed, white kids from the Midwest.

World team bout to get abused.
That's probably what Calipari thought when they played Canada in FIBA U18 and then he soon learned that the US doesn't have the best player.

Did a lot of good in the McDonalds game where Barrett got shut down on the final 2 possessions to lose.

Yet Barrett's team lost the McDonald's game.

So we're comparing All Star games to FIBA events aka games that actually matter now? RollLaugh

I'm not saying Barrett's going to go all out in this All Star game but he's a step above everyone else in this game imho.

We are talking about All-Star game(s), which is the subject of this thread. You're the one talking about a FIBA event...

Why is that? They use up their tournaments? Assuming they can only play in so many per some dumb NCAA rule.

You can only play in three I think but not sure if this counts. I can't think of any other reason Little wouldn't be on the team.

Brazdeikis is underrated imo...great get for JB and the Wolverines.

UNC might have one playing after all is said & done. Long shot but it’s still a shot.

He wants all bluebloods to recruit him. Just think he wants to increase his profile before choosing. I am not holding out breath on him, but he would be a great addition if he did come. Not sure how it works with our roster though.

If you assume Cam, Williams, and Maye are starting next year. How do you fit in Brown and Nassir as starters? Nassir is definitely starting. But you also need a PG. Do you relegated one of the assumed starters in Cam or Williams to the bench to play a traditional lineup? I dunno. Not sure if I see how it fits right now.

So the MVP of the McD game doesn’t get an invite because they don’t think he’s good enough? Doesn’t add up.

I could be wrong, but I believe according to NCAA rules, high school athletes in basketball can participate in only two all-star contests between the end of the senior-year sports season and high school-graduation. The reason is the NCAA wants high school seniors to focus on finishing their high school requirements. After graduation, there is no limit.

It has to be at least three I think because all of Duke's guys were in the McDs, Jordan, and this one.

Yeah because comparing an all star game to competing for your country involve the same exact relevance.

I believe Summit doesn't count because it is a FIBA event.

The limit on all-american games was relaxed or removed a year or two ago, IIRC.
