Good game UK. Legit Defense, and Maxey a stud.

Doubt he ever plays competitively again. Just my hunch though. It's been a year+ lingering issue.
Im really having trouble this year knowing who the hell Im watching on the court this year for Kentucky... Only guy I can pick out is Sestina.

Really liked what I saw from MSU. Bingham looked better then I thought. Tilman missed last 8 minutes and change in the first and we still out rebounded UK by 6.
UK got out-rebounded 45-39 against an NAIA team in exhibition. That and front court play overall will be their biggest weaknesses this year. Maxey won't be able to bail them out all the time.
Kinda. The OAD teams have underperformed quite a bit. I think most freshman hit a wall. Only the rare recruits that come around every few years or so seem to bring a title. As exciting as they are and when they can out talent other kids it’s fun but long run I like the experienced teams come tournament time.
If we don’t start getting something out of the 2 and the 4 spots...and by something, I mean a lot...MSU is not winning a NC.

The KSR call in show will a bunch of dude's who were drunk at the end of the game.....and will be drunker (sp?) when calling in.
That right there is Matt Jones at his best...no one calls in but drunk degenerates. It's beautiful.

Way more excited about the year than I was yesterday.
Team defense was great. Got sloppy the last 10 and was giving up open 3s but that's expected from young guys. They were losing their legs, but the conditioning will get better. Not worried about the O. Cal barely has anything incorporated this early. We'll get more efficient. I loved that the offensive struggles didn't matter to anyone. They all were focused, energetic, and doing other things to win. Great energy and chemistry.
Working on boxing out with Nick and EJ should be a priority though.
Think we got a good shot this year. Whether we win it all or not, at least I get to watch Maxey all year! GG Spartans.

I just read on twitter Maxey's balls are being iced over and he's dragging them around in the locker room. they say he's day to day.
Which is incredibly pathetic. You've got a sophomore and junior that don't even understand the basic fundamentals of basketball, yet they are playing at the highest collegiate level. I doubt it will ever click for those two.
Maxey played great. Enjoyed watching him play. Tough loss for MSU. I think MSU wins that game 7/10 times. Had some stupid fouls which made guys who have no business playing extended minutes play a ton. Bingham 11 minutes, Hall 7 minutes, Marble 5 in the first half. That’s crazy
Rocket was underwhelming. Hopefully he wakes up at some point. I think Bingham and kithier are decent at the 4. Didn't get to see much from Hall
Just rolls it on out there.
