Louisville gets notice of Inquiry from NCAA

UL has a problem no other school mentioned has
they were already on probation

i am curious how the NCAA will use the new rules where they can use legit information gathered from other sources

The irony for Louisville is if they fight hard and say they did nothing wrong, Rick Pitino will use that info in his wrongful termination suit.

They are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

Pitino is going to get some money because of the way they fired him. His lawsuit isn't why, it's how he was fired.

And here we go....

Pre-empting KLs KU is going to get hammered post

Apparently KU, UofL, and Arizona all received their's in early march. I'm interested to see how these colleges go about handling it. I don't think any of these schools have gotten anything more than a verbal inquiry though. I'm also curious to see if Duke, Oregon, LSU, Auburn, Creighton, and potentially others get an invite to the party.

*lol such a yawn post.

Well no one really cares, we just landed an experienced PG who averages 15.6 ppg and 2.8 apg for next year a day after King announced his departure intentions. Hopefully Nwora and Enoch make the right decision and come back. I would think if Nwora isn’t a first rounder he comes back. However, he does seem like a guy who is ready to go no matter what. Hope I’m wrong. Enoch, he just isn’t ready. Movement is suspect. He needs another year.

Pitino should get nothing. He was put on suspension as outlined by his contract prior to him being fired. He should get nothing unless Louisviille wants to be nice and settle.

Why is Louisville getting singled out so much? I don’t get it. It’s not like they are the only ones doing this crap. College basketball is a mess all around and I guess I’m just surprised the NCAA isn’t getting sued a whole lot more. What is keeping Louisville from suing the NCAA from some type of defamation? Or unfair treatment for allowing other universities to get away with murder while they get brought up in every scandal?

Louisville is the only College that their coaches were caught on tape arranging for pay for players while the school was on probation with the NCAA. You can only be so stupid.

Louisville will be serving a post season ban next year. You can't be stupid enough to be placed on probation by the NCAA one week and the next week be caught on tape arranging for payment to players.

They breached his contract when firing him. That’s the only reason why he’ll get something. It’s how he was fired that they did wrong.

Thanks for the warning. I didn’t know you were the NCAA spokesman. I guess that means you can get off this board because your work here with us and KU is done.

Do you think the NCAA will feel good about Louisville based on what they did while on probation.

Keep praying shaft patter.
If your team is that stupid you deserve whatever the NCAA deems necessary. Mark Emmert was on tv recently and stated they were going to come down hard on those schools that participated in cheating. Having your coaches on tape arranging for payment to recruits while you are on probation will qualify.

LOL......... Card fans are just so excited over a 6ft guard that shot 29% from 3pt range and 39% overall last year at a mid major.
Yeah we also have a 5 Star in Sam Williamson that is really really good. A PG in DJ who’s extremely athletic with handles and a pure shot. A top 50 Center who’s already physically ready for cbb in AI, and and pure shooter in Nickelberry who’s got a 43 inch vertical and handles. Not to mention are returning players in Sutton, Williams, Perry, McMahon, and probably Enoch. Adding depth isn’t a bad thing. Keep hating though, I’m sure the goofy lookin white guy you guys brought on will be a sure fire stud lmfao!

I hope they enjoy sitting home while other teams are playing in the NCAA tournament.

I’m sure you made this exact comment last year about Cunningham. He doesn’t and won’t need to be a star. However, he is going to be a roleplayer. He obviously won’t be close to our most talented PG, but will provide the leadership experience to help David Johnson and the rest of the team.

I remember when Uk fans were jumping off their couches when Baker signed yet he shoots like 32% and barely plays a game.

Btw, It’s no different than you all on RR exploding about Sestina. Both guys have played against lesser talent....obviously a big is going to shoot a high percentage.....If you want to be a complete homer then go here: http://www.kentucky.forums.rivals.com

Sestina (Years 1-4): 3.8, 4.8, 6.5, 15.8 ppg
Kimble (Years 1-4): 6.0, 15.5, 10.0 (1 game), 15.6 ppg

A10 > Patriot in recent years as well.

You coming in this thread and saying what I quoted shows how insecure you are, but that’s to be expected because we already determined your insecurity in several other threads.

Not even remotely true but continue your stupid false narrative.

Felling a little butt hurt are we?

Felling a little butt hurt are we?

Kl, you have 3 lines.

“Ku is going to be punished so it won’t matter.”

“Louisville is going to get the death penalty.”

and when someone responds with something you don’t like:

“Felling a little butt hurt are we?”

And can’t even spell “feeling” correctly. No one takes you serious.

Waiting on how they breached his contract?

They didn’t give him 10 days notice before he was fired. That’s a breach of contract. It’s not why he was fired, it’s how. It will always be how.

You are rustled. You’ve quoted me like 8 times before I can respond once.

Tyrese Maxey

Kahlil Whitney

Dontaie Allen

Keion Brooks

....along with returnees Montgomery, Richards, Hagans, etc.

U6 gonna get pounded harder than Stormy Daniels on a normal work day.

Please link where I said Louisville was going to get the death penalty. Fake News.

....another collection of lesser talent headed to U6. Maybe they'll actually win a game in the tourney next year..... IF they make it.

Then again, the NCAA about to go in dry on U6 again could mean a completely different roster.... of students from the campus rec league.

He was placed on suspension for the 10 days and they continued to pay him while on suspension. That is not a termination. He was terminated after the 10 day suspension. I am in Human Resources and that was an appropriate action prior to termination.
