Lol Jmoss can suck it, lets derail it Mebe. Clubs/shows are better in Louisville. Beer/Bar scene isn't even close, winner Louisville. Movies? Idk, drc either. Horse racing=who gives a shit. Violent crime? Lexington isn't big enough to have a hood, so that's cool.i am trying to hold true to not derailing this thread
so i will ask you one very simple question that you should have no problem answering
list the things that you can do in Louisville that you can not do in Lexington
i will even list the obvious things that are a push or Louisville wins
movies = push
dining = push
going to clubs = push
horse racing = push
chance to be a victim of a violent crime = OK you got me there, Louisville wins that one hands down

There's better brewerys in Louisville. ATG, Goodwood, Apocolypse, Great Flood, Milewide, Gravely. The list goes on. The bar/club scene is way better. I was just in both cities, and Louisville is way better imo. I've never been assaulted in Louisville, and I lived there for almost 25 years. The west end is where a majority of the crime is situated. Like I said, Lexington is too small to have an area like that. Any major city has a bad area of towm, but Lexington is just a town.totally disagree on the clubs/shows and beer/bar scene (my days of running clubs are long past)
you can find what you enjoy in either city as a matter of fact you can in most decent sized cities
neither is L.A. or Miami
as for violent crime, as of November 2017 the city of Louisville was ranked 11th in the country
Lexington does have better strip clubs though.totally disagree on the clubs/shows and beer/bar scene (my days of running clubs are long past)

Ever since tony's of lexington and the distillery district opened, I'm not sure that's true. I mean... Yea. You all may have more clubs you would be likely to run into katina Powell at, but that's about it. Once centre Pointe opens LOOKOUT. Its ova for da Ville.There’s no debate as to there is more to do in Louisville as opposed to Lexington. Complete moot argument. I️ don’t even live in Louisville and I️ know this.
Go down to 2nd street in lex wearing red. I'll give your mom my condolences.There's better brewerys in Louisville. ATG, Goodwood, Apocolypse, Great Flood, Milewide, Gravely. The list goes on. West 6th, country boy and blue stallion all have better recognition than those Louisville micro brews.There's better brewerys in Louisville. ATG, Goodwood, Apocolypse, Great Flood, Milewide, Gravely. West sixth tastes like soap and country boy is mediocre af, so no.West 6th, country boy and blue stallion all have better recognition than those Louisville micro brews.
My mom could probably kick your ass.Go down to 2nd street in lex wearing red. I'll give your mom my condolences.
Katina is sporting your blue now little boy, she's probably eating a shitty steak from Malone's complementary of Mattie J after a cuck sesh.Ever since tony's of lexington and the distillery district opened, I'm not sure that's true. Don’t you get it? You (VA) really doesn’t matter.
lol. UVA would grab UK's 5 stars by the puss. No doubt.I understand that it bothers you that a team with our level of talent can be so much better than your team of rentals

When I visit Louisville or Lexington over my vacations/breaks, when I️ get off of work... yes, I️ like to meet up with some friends and go to a bar/brewery, which Louisville has an abundance of on Bardstown Road/Frankfort Ave/Nulu. I️ live in Northern California, and come to visit back home 3-4 times a year, and it’s nice to check out the new additions each city has to offer, as I’ve got friends in both cities. Why is that so weird?so are you saying the main enjoyment you get out of life is going to a bar/club or hanging out at a brewery
BTW brewery's and bar/clubs are a push
even if one city was better than the other one, most people find other things far more important in life then just hanging out at a bar/club (most of us grow up)
you still have failed to list all the things Louisville offers to do that Lexington does not other than maybe being a drunk
Don’t be condensinding or preachy with the arbitrary drunk talk, it makes you sound arrogant and foolish. Obviously there’s more to do other than go to a brewery. I’m just listing certain advantages the city has to offer. Let’s not be a curmudgeon and play the, “well I’m more of an adult, so I’ve experienced more meaningful endeavors so to speak rhetoric”, gmafb, I’m just having a half-hearted, obvious joking discourse with you.so are you saying the main enjoyment you get out of life is going to a bar/club or hanging out at a brewery

The waterfront is always fun in the summers with waterfront Wednesday. The local restaurants on Bardstown Road (Migo, Seviche, The Fat Lamb, Jack Fry’s, Gralehaus, way way more, etc.. other neighborhoods such as Germantown and Clifton/Crescent Hill have awesome venues/food/art, festivals, cyclouvia (where the streets of Frankfort Avenue or Bardstown road—each in different seasons. It stretches down the entire road, for four hours to ride bikes, roller skate, skateboard, walk with family up and down the historical blocks to have fun, and eventually go to amazing parks that have an abundance of activity. Activity ranging from mountain biking, tennis, basketball courts,golf, frisbee fields, etc.. in the middle of a huge forest (Cherokee Park and Iroquois Park. There are more festivals on Bardstown toad to even think about, there’s one every few weeks/month. St James art fair is the largest outdoor art exhibit in the US, surrounded by Victorian houses that are ancient and gorgeous. The Forcaslte fearival is held every summer, with huge name artists and groups year in and year out, as the owner of Bonaroo puts on the annual festival. There is a world fest in September that showcases cultures from across the globe represent their cultures food, music, and dance.. which is pretty ****ing cool. Not too mention Thunder over Louisville, the largest fire works show in the US, drawing over a million people a year to watch an hour andi enjoy a good drink every now and then
listing how one city has more to do because of clubs/bars is not really establishing how one has much more things to do then the other
sorry if i condescending or preachy
for the second time this year ul will play in front of a packed house (the other being against UK)
totally disagree on the clubs/shows and beer/bar scene (my days of running clubs are long past)

do you honestly think that there is so much more to do in Louisville then they are Lexington

That was an interesting way to spell "condescending."Don’t be condensinding or preachy with the arbitrary drunk talk, it makes you sound arrogant and foolish. Everything you just posted is done on a smaller scale in lexington. Literally everything.The waterfront is always fun in the summers with waterfront Wednesday. The local restaurants on Bardstown Road (Migo, Seviche, The Fat Lamb, Jack Fry’s, Gralehaus, way way more, etc.. other neighborhoods such as Germantown and Clifton/Crescent Hill have awesome venues/food/art, festivals, cyclouvia (where the streets of Frankfort Avenue or Bardstown road—each in different seasons. a half professional fireworks show, with an amazing air show prior to it. To compare the two cities is stupid. I’ve got more advantages if you’d wish to hear them. Please indulge me on the “great” cutting edge things happening in Lexington, lol...I’d ****ing love to hear about them...? I’m all ears.
According to what source? Dumb hicks don't realize how asinine you sound when you try to make Louisville sound like Thunderdome. You sound like a bunch of slack-jawed yocals who think you're in the ghetto if you street lights and anything other than white people.
Lol, an auto-correct is the only retort you can formulate back to me. Yikes.That was an interesting way to spell "condescending."
If the last sentence were the case, why do all of you flock to Louisville, then complain about how shitty it is compared to the paradise you call Lexington? Me thinks the job market just isn’t that great there, due to the size and resources.Alright alright. I'm from Louisville have family in Lexington and go there like 10 times a year.
Lexington is a good town. Definitely more college oriented than Louisville, but stayed at 21C in Lex for a football game this year and downtown Lexington has improved a lot in just last 3-4 years.
Lexington has better schools than Louisville, higher home value, lower crime. If you're a UK fan with a family it's a good place to be.
Get fvcked.I feel for the people who try to talk college basketball in these forums, but have to read countless post by UL/UK fans b!itching at each other day after day. Here is a idea, make 1 thread and have at it, give the other posters a break.
We are Kentucky and they're Louisville. Its how the world worksI still don't understand how we blew out UofL. They've looked solid ever since. Virginia is really really good though. I'll take the Hoos at home. If this were in Louisville Id probably take the Birds honestly.
Emmert appeared out of thin hair wearing an invisible cloak during half time, and greased our rim/put it off kilter.We are Kentucky and they're Louisville. Its how the world works
