POY is over and it’s Edey by a mileTJD is just in another world right now. POY is down to he and Edey, with Edey ahead IMHO.
I am now willing to concede TJD has moved in front of all but Edey and maybe Jalen Wilson on the AA list.TJD is just in another world right now. POY is down to he and Edey, with Edey ahead IMHO.

Tell me you don’t understand analytics without telling me you don’t understand analytics.Do these Kenpom numbers you cherry pick take into account Purdue having the easiest schedule in the Big Ten and IU having the toughest?
Does it take in account that TJD is doing things statistically not seen since Tim Duncan in the 90s?
Guessing it doesn't take in account the 6+ weeks where TJD played at 65% and did not practice due to the back injury.
Do these Kenpom numbers take into account who the better defensive player is?
Is NPOY an MVP award or best Player award?
Edey is the most consistent offensive player this season, no doubt.
True----but he ain't THAT wrong. The numbers TJD is putting up are absurd. I don't think he passes Edey for BPOY----but he has certainly closed the gap. Barring some type of collapse, he's cemented a spot on 1st team AA....Tell me you don’t understand analytics without telling me you don’t understand analytics.
I would think Noah Gurley- Alabama F 6'10" would have made the list. That seems fair. I really feel like there are 6 guys competing for those 5 spots on 1st Team. Edey, Wilson, TJD, Tubelis, Timme, and Miller. Obviously Edey is a 100% lock, so you could say 5 guys competing for 4 spots.
If I'm looking at the numbers and the success of teams, I feel like Timme should be the odd man out. Just given the name recognition, however, I wouldn't be surprised if Timme makes 1st Team over someone like a Tubelis, or perhaps Brandon Miller.
Tshiebwe, Sasser, and Jaquez aren't completely of the equation, but they've got a considerable amount of ground to make up in the next few weeks.
Tshiebwe should be second team, bad press and all. Here is the first of 4 that it takes to be a consensus AA:

Not sure who I'd pull off that team to put him there. All 5 of those guys have had great seasons as well.Tshiebwe should be second team, bad press and all.
Yes, anyone in the discussion has had a great season. Oscar got a ton of defensive attention and single handedly put Ky in the dance and this is from a fan that despises every fiber of the Ky program. Not sure who I'd pull off that team to put him there. All 5 of those guys have had great seasons as well.
