I know a lot of people don't do it, but I honestly think its smarter than betting on teams you have a less amount of knowledge on. You watch your team probably 15 times more than any other team in any given season. You know what matchups are good, and which ones aren't.

I definitely agree with this. There are especially some matchups that you just know are going to give your team fits that others just seem to miss.

Im the same way. Ill also bet UK anytime they are a underdog, sans last year after the dreadful start. I dont make big bets tho just lots of them lol
 
I have two current bets. In the fall of 2019 my brother said that Luka Doncic would only be good for 7 years and then he would fall off dramatically. We put a lunch on that one.

Then he bet me last week that two brothers who go to school with my 6 year old nephew would both play major league baseball one day. We have a lunch riding on that one as well. Made that bet before I found out that the kids' dad played MLB and their mom was a high level softball player so maybe my brother is on to something there.

So you make these decade, maybe 2 decade bets and the only thing you best is a lunch?

I'm not going to bet money vs my brother. That doesn't seem right. Honestly, the lunch part is just an afterthought. I'd be more than content just to win the bet and be right.

No doubt. I’m gonna need a $100 minimum on any bet that lasts a year or more. I currently have one on Derek Henry’s career lasting longer than CMC’s. Made that bet when CMC was drafted. One I made that sucked was I bet 5 friends $100 each that Cam would win a SB MVP within 5 years of the SB loss. Oops. Not sure which way CMC/Henry goes. Both seem to be set for a short career at this rate. Henry has a one year lead at least.

Interesting bets. I would have been with you 100 percent on the Cam/Superbowl bet. Especially being a Panthers fan. I thought 2015 was just the beginning of what would have been a dominant era for the Panthers. But Cam couldn't stay healthy, and we haven't had a winning season since 2017-2018.

As far as CMC vs Henry, I would have really liked that bet in the beginning for you. But so far, as weird as it is, Henry has been able to stay more healthy. You wouldn't think that given how much punishment he takes. Perhaps it will wear him down eventually, and I could see Christian playing more as a pass catching back as het gets older. Help him save some years.
 
Do yall factor in games played as the barometer or just years in the league?

I jist know cmc didnt play much last year curious if thay counts as a year in the league or just how many ever games.

I've run a couple sites since I started in September.

Draft Kings is still my primary, especially during football season. Jumped on FanDuel for a while but just didn't like how basic it was. Switched over to BetMGM in January and that's been my primary until football starts again.

Was up to over $1,000 on that site for a minute during basketball season. But covid made things get weird and I've since squandered a good deal of that.

Managed to win some tonight though thanks to the Clippers pulling a miracle out their are, coming back from 25 down to win by double digits.

But I've literally just been biding my time with small bets until football season. I probably should be trying to hit small bets here and there to build my bank roll before the real betting season begins again..........

I cant do baseball.

i had dodgers -1.5 the other night, up 9-1 in the 7th so i crashed. Gave up 7 runs in the 8th and only won by 1 fml.

Usually I’m pretty bad with baseball, but the unders have been an absolute treasure trove this year.
 
I never mesed with baseball o/u and when i do i lose lol. I was on cubs/brewers under hendricks vs peralta and brewers hung like 11 lol.

u think under will continue to roll with the crack down on substances for pitchers?
 
Plus i love the + money RL way to much and i love to parlay em WAYYYYY to much lol.

But alas Parlays are for fools.

Italy pretty much broke my betting spirit by not winning in regulation the other day fml, i loaded up on them and their 12 statight wins without giving up a goal fml.
 
I like the football and college basketball but havent ever played mlb and not a golfer. I need to try mlb. I split 1st place out of 50k with about 1000 people for like 50$ one night during the second round of the playoffs lol.
 
Liverpool effed my by not being able to put one in the second half while chelsea was playin down a man.
