Not in the gambler’s anonymous kind of way, though.

Who does everybody use for their sportsbook? I’ll split time between New York and New Jersey a lot, so I use the Borgata app in New Jersey, and BetOnline.ag in New York because, well, New York. Hopefully that’ll change soon. When it does, I might be making the move over to betMGM to consolidate. Anybody use MGM now? Like it? Hate it?

Use Bovada. Kentucky is light years behind other states in most things, including gambling. Can't bet on the app if I'm using data or wifi in Kentucky, so I have to make the 25 minute drive to southern Indiana just to get my bets in.

Drive over, make my bets on the app, and drive back. Silly routine but I'm used to it at this point.

I did use Bovada with no complaints, but New York residents just got kicked off. Very frustrating. I’ll do something similar if I’m near a border of a state that would work. It’s mind blowing states wouldn’t just want that revenue for themselves.

Would a vpn work?

My state is all about losing revenue to other states. Gambling? Go give Indiana your money. Marijuana? Pretty sure at least 2 bordering states sell it for profit. Hell, in some counties you can't even buy alcohol.

But yea, I do like Bovada. Have had no issues with it so far, so I haven't looked at anything else.

Ohio is close to passing gambling. Passed the senate and onto the House. But probably won't be available until next spring.

Wow i thought u had to have a Indy address to even sign up for the legal sportsbooks. I thought if u put u had a ky address they wouldnt let you make an account. Whats so stupid is u can play draft kings in KY but not the DK sportsbook. Like hello its all gambling.

i used mybookie.ag its offshore. Ive cashed in twice before so they are at least not a total fraud.

VPNs let you play poker online now? I know they took that away along time ago, i think nation wide but idk.

i miss that shit. Casino poker is ok just to slow and i cant smoke and what not.

My IP does have me in Secaucus, but it’s still saying I’m outside of N.J. and can’t place a bet when I try and wager. Oh well, I’ll keep playing around with it while I’m out of state and see if anything works. Thanks for the tip

you're doing it wrong. When turned on, your IP should show where you chose.

Would love to be able to play online poker again. Loved Poker Stars and then Full Tilt. Good times and actually made some money.

Gambling and poker aside, I'm surprised everyone doesn't have a vpn.

I have it on work/home pc and wife's cell phone.

Is NY open now for bets with the apps? I have to drive to Jersey from CT or have my friends put in bets for me. NY is a much closer drive for me, but didn’t think it was up and running yet. All my friends still in the city also have to travel into Jersey actually to place the bets.

Nope. I think they’re aiming for late ‘21 or early ‘22. It’s ****ing infuriating that it has/is taking this long.

I use Bovada or MGM for convenience (not very impressed with either) or I just go down to the casinos and bet.

I occasionally use one but I figure everyone who has my data (aka the entire internet) knows me better than myself so meh

Saw this discussion in another thread, but I’m curious where everybody stands; Do you bet on your favorite team?

I’ll definitely bet on any team I want to win, but only to lose/not cover the spread. Very, very rarely to win.

Not really, only when you see a line that you think is way off (though I don't sports bet as much anymore either tbh). Betting on them and them losing is just a double whammy of suck.
