In the span of less than one month, TCU has announced that 4 different players are leaving the program via the transfer route. Jaylen Fisher's announcement just came out. Kind of surprising seeing how he was injured for the year and Alex Robinson is a Senior. What is going on in Fort Worth?

Here's what TCU's roster looked like in the preseason. I have highlighted the 4 players that have left the program. Fisher was Jamie Dixon's first big-time recruit. Archie was a 4-star prospect - and Alok was a promising JUCO transfer. Kind of surprising to see so many transfers mid-season, especially someone like Fisher who would almost assuredly be penciled in as the primary ball-handler next year.

Very unusual. Certainly you see teams lose 3-4 transfers every year, but that almost always happen after the season concludes. Off the top of my head I can't recall 4 transfers from the same team in season. Would be curious to know if there's some serious friction in that locker room.

Dixon's statement was pretty sketch: Said something about talking with Jaylon and moving forward he will not play this season or in the future for TCU.

I think Fish needs a good, long (year?) rest for that knee. Alok broke his hand, out for the season, is transferring to UCF. The buzz is they like the red shirt Barlow better for the future, even tho he'll prob not be ready this season. I think the foreign big has an injury as well... concussions?

TCU has two 4* PGs headed their way next cycle; that'd be (along with then SO's Nembhard and Davis) 4 point guards to compete with Fish for minutes.
So if that knee ain't right...

The horny toads also have a 4* SF coming, so if he can give anything more than Archie (I mean...), I think it'll work out for all parties.

I'd rather they transfer than be removed.. *cough cough* Okie Lite.

9 total players, one a walk-on.

Three dudes booted.
And Coach B didn't sound like he was bummed about it.
One guy had already transferred; I actually liked him.
