In honor of the new season that is upon us post something interesting about your school

I know this will not go four posts in before people start trashing other schools, but lets see if people could only post something interesting about THEIR school and not disparage other schools. I'll start

KU: has been a top four seed in 18 straight NCAA tourneys. last time they weren't a top 4 seed was back in 2000. Since then they have been a 4 seed 3 times, a 3 seed twice, a 2 seed 4 times and a 1 seed 9 times.

UK's color's were originally blue and yellow.

The day after UK lost their first home game in 129 games/12 years (still current record),the State Capitol Building in Frankfort, flew the state flag at half staff in mourning. This was January 9, 1955.

I'm sure there are a few posters here that are older than UCF basketball.

Alumni Hall (a dorm) at Villanova dates from 1848. During the civil war it housed soldiers/ patients. Of course---leads to some great "haunted" stories and legends.

That’s a great trivia question stat.

Johnny Dawkins by contrast took UCF to the Final Fours in his first season as HC.
