The tough part is that UCLA defended that pretty well too.

Despite the result, UCLA has exposed Gonzaga's weakness in defense and I'd give Baylor an edge in the finals.
Few is a good guy, but I don't like his team. Punk bitches
Wait. You told me UCLA won?
I know the scoreboard doesn't reflect it, but UCLA didn't really lose that game. That is what sucks for them
Always sucks when 2 teams give it their all and someone has to lose. Especially one losing like that. The only criticism I’ll have is Cronin should have called a TO to end regulation and set up a play.
No one would've predicted a lucky half-court 3 to end this game though. But anyway, they struggled against UCLA so that tells a lot.
Glad to have another shot (along with Jenkins) to replace the Laettner shot during tourney time. 😁
Who didn't?
Indeed, but both shots would've been even better if they were losing instead of tied.Jenkins shot is still thr #1 for me and its not even a contest since it happened in the title game.
Baylor would've blown out this UCLA team by 20pts easily. I'd still say that Gonzaga is the more talented team than Baylor, but the latter is more battle tested and ready to play the big games. Baylor played in a much tougher conference, and they beat much stronger opponents on their way to the finals(Villanova > Creighton, Arkansas > Southern Cal, Houston > UCLA). If anything, this game already shows that Gonzaga aint well prepared for the intensity of tough opponents, hence why UCLA took them to OT.
